Singles & Dating - 9 October 2006

I haven't seen my boyfriend for about a week
and was looking forward to seeing him this weekend
but he just called me and said that he is going to be working all the way until next week (monday). He is a "wildland firefighter" and goes out for weeks at a time.
and by then i will have to go back to college on Sunday.
Because he lives back home which is a 6 hour drive from where i go to college at.(in the next state).
am really bummed out. :(
any suggestions to help me feel better or what i can do to not miss him so much???

So my friend and her bf broke things off..He broke up with her about 2 months ago and she was sad for a lil then she ended up dating his best friend (now they arent ne more). So now she is happy..She tells me that she is over him and that she is happier then ever..So me and her ex are hanging out now and I had no intentions in falling for him and same for him..Well we started hanging out more and now we both like eachother and we dont know what to do..Ne advice

Ok this is my story this guy ive been dating now for 5weeks is really into me hes a hood cat and uim a good girl so im kinda hiding this realtionship from my folks.Anyways a good friend of his who also happens to like me said that if I dont sleep with my bf that he will break up with me and my bf said also that if nothing sexual happens between us its no use going out with her!!!!!!
Im not vain no far from it but ppl do consider me as being 'hot' so is my bf using me?He sats he loves me and doesnt want to loose me and he even told his closest friend that hes afraid it breaks between us so does he really love me or does he love me and is afraid that he'll lose me meaning:He wouldnt get a chance to sleep with me?? ok i have a huge crush on this guy at my school and i have had a crush on him since like 4th grade!!! then thursday after school he came up to me with nothing but a pair of shorts and an undershirt on and started flirting with me. I'm still having a hrad time getting over me EX. I don't understand why so many people say things like "it's not like you won't meet someone else. get over it." My friends say it... people on here have told me that. I just don't get it. Not everyone DOES meet someone else, right? Is it that easy for everyone else? It certainly has not been in my experience.

He says we are only friends, but he knows that I like him more.

Before, I would be the only one to call him. He said he 'hated talking on the phone'. Even if we got disconnected or had a dropped call - *I* would be the one who had to call back. I'm willing to compromise and choose my battles, so it wasn't a big deal considering he is good at communicating other ways.

Now, I have two other guys I am talking to - and I am honest with him about them.

Last week, I called him and he said "Let me call you back.." I said "Okay..." and he did. No big, we had something to talk about anyway.

And yesterday, I called and no one answered. About 10 minutes later, he called me back. I didn't bring it to his attention or anything - but I was surprised.

Do you think he is just being a friend? or trying to keep my interest?

My b/f has a temper problem...Big time! BUt, he takes it out in me... He doent hit me, but he treats me like i am a stupid b****! i ask him if he is ok once, and he blows up in my face! example: the other day his mother was just yelling at him so much over the phone. When he got off, he went to go take a shower, then came out, got his coat... And LEFT! We were not even at his house, we were at his cousin's. They were not home, so he left me alone at his families house.Then, when i tried to call him maybe 4 hours later, he hung up on me after i asked him what he was doing? Did I do something wrong? What can I do if anything?
