my true love is with his family in another country and i no he needs he's family and i told him to take his time and that i under stand but i want him here with me i miss him so bad i dont get to talk to him he emails me but its not enough i want him so much and i no i keep thinking about my self how do i stop alls i can think about is being in his arms

I don't think ur being selfish but how long is this going to be? Maybe unrealistic is the word. It all depends on the circumstances. If its temporary and he is your true love wait it out. If it is not move on. Good luck on this one.

Well why is he in another country? Is his family sick and he needs to tend to them and care for them? Is that why you couldn't go with him? I understand that you miss him more than anything, and all you want is to be with him. But just keep emailing him and let him know that you are there for him and understand this whole situation. I know it is very hard to be away from the ones you love, but if it is really true love, you will hold on and know that before you know it, he will be back with you, and you will be with him again. No your not being selfish at all. it's normal when you love someone.
I suggest keeping busy while he is away. Plan something for when he gets home to you for the two of you. If you pick him up in the air port that would be wonderful for him to see you.
Let him know you miss him, but you know what it means for him and let him know your planning something that way he will be excited to leave to come back faster by being curious what you may have planned.
I suggest a nice meal with candlelight or fireplace and to catch up. You fill in the rest.

It is not that you are being selfish its that you found the one you want to be with and you want to spend time with them. If his parents or family need him at this time then why dont you try going there? Try to compromise until you can be together. It is hard but it will be worth it in the future.
Now that you added your additional comment... then I would say you are being selfish. Why should he compromise in a relationship and you not? That is not the way a relationship works. You both have to compromise on things you do not like.
