I'm still having a hrad time getting over me EX. I don't understand why so many people say things like "it's not like you won't meet someone else. get over it." My friends say it... people on here have told me that. I just don't get it. Not everyone DOES meet someone else, right? Is it that easy for everyone else? It certainly has not been in my experience.

when you stop trying, it happens. weird that way but that's how it has always worked for me.
there were days when i wanted to wear a t-shirt that read I'm single, if interested please call 555-5555. and then thee were three women that all were interested in me. Feast or famine.

The reason friends say things like that is because they get tired of hearing people talk about things like "ex's" and "past relationships" For friends who have not been in that situation or are not currently in that situation, it may be harder for them to understand your emotions. First of all, let it be said, it is OKAY to grieve over someone who you cared for. There is nothing wrong with hurting over someone and there is no time limit for when you should move on. Do it at your own pace. No it is not set in stone that everyone will meet "someone else." But there will definitely be possibilities out there, or new prospects I should say. But in order to be able to see these people as prospects and potential relationships, your heart will have had to heal. For right now, let yourself deal with your emotions and don't think about being with someone else until you have healed.

In time, You will DEFINITLY meet other people... I know its easier said than done, but people say that from experience... People meet other people, its part of life. Even tho it may feel like you wont ever meet someone else again RIGHT NOW... You will, and you'll be fine. Good luck

It's a hell of a lot easier for girls to meet a guy then for guys to meet girls. Mostly because guys approach the girls and girls judge you in 2.3 seconds and have a decision in in .05 seconds more. If you want to meet a guy go to any bar and wait is that so hard? And when a guy does in fact come talk to you which one will don't be so damn judgmental. If he came over and talked to you it means he is intresated.

its hard to find a person who will treat you good, with dignity and respect, but go slow and keep looking it sure will be worth it in the end, do not settle for anything less.

well no maybe not right away, but you will eventually get over him. and then you'll be ok. and no you might not find another person, some people dont, but i think you will, and you'll also be ok.
