Be happy and proud of him that he has a job and even though it is dangerous and you don't see him much at least he has a job. Plus it gives you something to brag about. Email and phone calls are the trick and trust me I am sure he would rather be with you if he could

Thanksgiving isn't that far away. You will have several days off from school, right? I know it is over a month away, but at least you will have more than just a couple of days. Perhaps he could request some days off while you are on Christmas break and you guys could just spend the time hanging out together.

When you talk to him next time see if he's working on a certain time of a certain day and drive up to surprise him and have a romantic time and let him know you wanted to see him before you left to go back to school and that you where missing him. Take some flowers.

I'm married to a self employed atty who works about 90 hours a week....he loves his job and really wants to do well for his clients. I used to get really sad and lonely but i learned to fill my life. I got in touch with myself and what makes me happy now and what used to make me happy. i searched out what i could do with my time that was constructive and interesting. whining at him will only cause upset feelings on both sides. if you seriously can't handle the time alone then i would consider seeing what other guys are out there. his profession will be like this til he retires. can you last that long? I like being alone and reading and cooking and doing other things like rock climbing and camping with kids and friends. try to find what makes you happy so when you are together you will have lots of awesome things to talk about from your life as well.

Try to focus on other things. Sometimes when we get too close to someone, we tend to get too exclusive and build a new world for ourselves and that loved one. But please be reminded that too much attachment is disastrous...we get too sensitive and then before you know it, your relationship has become so unhealthy as either one of you gets so possessive and then the other gets suffocated by such excessive attention. Try to include friends in your life...do other things to divert your attention so you will have a balanced life...do not exclude friends, meet new acquaintances, try to fill your life with different things that will enrich you as thinking and focusing too much on one person could make you lose your self and make your life stagnant...try to introduce as many new things as you can, ok? ;)

I would try to get in touch with one of your friends and see if you guys can't do anything like go see a movie or something. Maybe he will come and see you if he gets a chance.

Go volunteer at 'Big Brothers, Big Sisters Assoc.' It will take your mind off of missing him so much and keep you out of trouble.
Besides, those kids really are in needy.

im sure he will find time to be with you...
to take you mind off of him try, taking yourself out to a day-spa with you friends,
have today and the rest of the week be a day that you can collect your thought and relax a bit, as long as you are out enjoying yourself (with you boyfriend not as the topic)
let today be a day that you feel beautiful
