I'm normally into guys who are taller than me. I really love him but sometimes i wish he were taller. I know this seems foolish but i need your opinion. Should i worry about this? What should i do?

How long should you email a guy you meet online (on a dating site) before you talk on the phone? I like to email for a while to get to know the guy a little before calling him. Guys seem to think you are playing games with them if you don't want to talk on the phone. I have found no difference in the success of meeting whether or not I talked to the guy on the phone or not. I work late and when I get home at night (around 9 30) I am tired and have stuff to do just as I am sure these guys do when they get home at 5 or 6, and it is easier for me to email back and forth through the dating site than to get on the phone and talk for an hour when I have things to do like eating, and washing, and all. I like to ask so key questions before I talk on the phone, things that are easier to email than to come out and ask. I think a few days of emailing and then talking on the phone works best.

I'm not talking about "I broke up with my bf/gf 3months ago" type solitude, I mean true depressing isolation. I'm 35 years old and to be honest I have had a grand total of 4 months worth of true companionship in my life, and it's NOT by choice. I go out to bars, movies, fairs, etc. so I'm not a hermit or anything. It just seems no matter what I do, say, or try, I end up being alone. The worst thing is everyone who's ever met me thinks I'm an actual honest to god gentleman, but even that doesn't help. The solitude I feel can't be cured by friends, after this amount of time, it's not enough, no matter where I am, or who I'm with I feel alone. And after this much time the loneliness is like a manifestation chewing on my soul, and NO shrinks aren't the answer either. I feel the only thing that will cure this is actual companionship. So, if you've been alone as long as I have, how do you deal with it?, Do you feel like death is the only true release.

i tell all the details that is needed for the guy to know what i look like. He knows that i am a big girl and he tells me that is what he likes. Then after 3 to 4 weeks of talking we meet and go out and talk for a couple of days longer then i don't hear from him anymore. what am i doing wrong and where is a good place to meet the right man. other than clubs, bars, church, etc. i have tried all those.

My 10 year old cousin likes this guy. There both ten and in middle school. They sit next to eack other in home room, guidence, gym, and music. Her best friend told her that he likes a girl that is smart(she's smart) funny (she made him laugh once or twice in class the second day) and nice (she is really nice) . She likes him A LOT!! my boyfriend asked me to marry him. I told him yes, but I keep holding it off telling him I don't think that is what he really wants to do as an excuse. He keeps pushing it. The only reason I keep holding it off is because my family wants me to wait to get married, either because they want me to be older or to have more money or be more stable in some way, and I have always followed my parents and families wishes, because I always found them best, but my heart is telling me just go do it. Go get married, and if they' re mad they will get over it. I am so in love with him and I really want to get married, but my parents hate the ideal as well as the rest of my family. I just don't know what to do and I would like to know your opinion.

I know that my boyfriend loves me, but when he gets angry with me or irritated he runs away, says mean things, and will not answer my texts or calls. He is very immature at times. When he is hurt and upset, he reacts with anger and immature behavior. He knows it hurts me when he ignores me, so that is what he uses. I always have to go to him. He has even admitted to me that he "needs" for me come to him because he does not think he would be able to come to me. He has been burned by all of the women in his life, including his mother. He thinks that I will ultimately leave him or hurt him, so he becomes angry and mean when hurt. He knows I will always give in and be the one to come to him. But I do not want to do that anymore. It is not healthy and it gives him the impression that he can treat met that way, and I will always be there. It is so hard for me not to contact him. But if I ever want anything to come of this relationship I must stand my ground. Right?

So as I'm walking around my campus I see some guys have their collars popped. I myself is very familiar with this fashion statement as Abercrombie first launched this trend during the Back To School 2005 season. However, this wave of trend has passed as of Spring 2006 Season and all the stores pretty much been putting them down. However I'm still seeing people wearing them that way.

What do you guys and girls think about popped collar? I personally feel it scratches the back of my neck too much.

P.S. But I still think it looks hot when girls wear it up with a solid A&F polo :)

My mom doesn't want me to date till I am 16. I want to date sooner then that. Not now, but by next year, I will be 15(this year). I don't know if she will let me. So I have an ex-girlfriend who ended on good terms. It's been over a year since then. At first, it was awkward, she would never really laugh at me even though the rest of the group would (when before she would always laugh at me), would sometimes tell a story about her bf and her to the group.

Well, a few weeks ago they broke up. A couple of weeks before they broke up she started becoming very receptive towards me, like being comfortable again, laughing at me, etc (like showing interest).

I've invited her to hang out (with a group of my friends) twice now (over a week or so's time) and she said she was busy both times. She responds to me whenever I call or text. She has yet to invite me to do anything with her. I don't know if she's nervous or what, but how can I change this?
