My mom doesn't want me to date till I am 16. I want to date sooner then that. Not now, but by next year, I will be 15(this year). I don't know if she will let me. What are some ways to change her mind? I am the only person I know that has to be 16 to date, most of my friends have to be 15, I don't want to date because the they get to. Guys keep fliring with me and people always ask me why I don't have a boyfriend and I am starting to want one.Thanks in advanced.

I think your mom is right... do not be so anxious to get old.. it is always work be a kid enjoy being a kid... that being said I know that you want a formula to change her mind... i am not trying to be mean but i hope you do not find one...

listen to your mom...there is no rush, boys will still be there by the time you turn 16...and besides, pouting and complaining about her decision will just make it harder for her to change her mind at a later time...show maturity in your actions, don't rock the boat, and she may let you go early.

Joe is right on target. As a father of 2 teenage girls I would know. Don't rush it.
