Don't do that whole "listen to sad music" thing, that's like pouring salt into a wound. Instead rejoice in the fact that you had that love and that "hopefully" you've learned a lot from it, kept some fond memories of it, and that you had a great thing once. If it happened once, it'll happen again so be glad. Its one of those things that can either break you, or make you stronger. Go to church, sing along with the choir when they do praise and worship, and build yourself back up.

Wow this is a tough thing and I'm sorry that you're in this position....unfortunately, time is the only thing that will truly work, but for now, keep busy, hang out with friends, try something new that you've been wanting to try...take a trip! Talk it out with friends....I really don't recommend using someone new romantically to get over someone else, because it probably won't work until you are really over things and really, truly ready....do something fun...do something positive and nice for someone else....and good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

You don't, the memory will haunt you all of your life. Time makes it easier. But a smell or a song or a place will bring it to mind.

Every time love comes your way it is different.

In my mind , I can see faces with out names . I remember names without faces, but these weren't loves. The loves you don't forget.

After the pain goes away, you will be happy for the memories, they will make you smile.

only time will heal all wounds. but even with wounds you still have a scar left behind. which means that you will get over it, but there might be a little hurt or something left behind when you think of that person down the road from now.

try your best to let them know how you feel about them. ask her if tshe loves you enough to work out your problems, such as counseling or talking to your pastor. if she disagrees, let it go, but let it go on a good note. it takes time, time is your only enemy. take one day at a time. but, always remember your tried your best.and your best wasn't good enought for her. your deserve better and you will find it some day. go on with your life the best you can. soon you will look back at this as an experience. good luck

try to be really busy so that you don't have time to think about them and eventually you'll feel a little better but I don't think you can ever really get over them
