i tell all the details that is needed for the guy to know what i look like. He knows that i am a big girl and he tells me that is what he likes. Then after 3 to 4 weeks of talking we meet and go out and talk for a couple of days longer then i don't hear from him anymore. what am i doing wrong and where is a good place to meet the right man. other than clubs, bars, church, etc. i have tried all those.

Well, usually when you stop looking for Mr. Right he will come. I think that if you are honest then he is the one with issues. I have had the same problem with guys before. I finallly gave up and then I found my guy of all places at work. There are great guys out there if you give them a chance. Maybe you can try joining a BBW group on Yhaoo or my space. The Big Beautiful Women groups have guys that are interested in a larger woman. They also give good advice as to where to go to meet people. They will help you out alot I'm sure!

You need to find a guy who thinks the same way I do, If your a good person on the inside, then regardless of whats on the outside, to me you are the most beautiful woman in the world. The only problem is that theres alot of guys who do care about the looks, as well as some of you ladies, finding the guys like me is not easy, there is not a whole lot of us, but we do exist. Keep looking

Honey, just because it didn't click for this guy doesn't mean anything. Keep doing what you're doing and remember that you kiss a lot of frogs before you get the prince.
I'd also consider volunteering, perhaps in connection with the upcoming election. Then you already start out with something in common.

Darlin' it seems to me your trying to hard, let the special guy come to you, fate will bring you together.
The guy seems like a typical complicated male, maybe things didn't go exactly the way he imagined so he bailed. That is how men are, atleast to me.

I met my guy on "answers" and could not be happier. I was up front with him about my size, and he didn't care. We met and it was love at first sight.
He really is one of a kind! He treats me like I am the most wonderful woman on earth!

I think (but I'm not sure) that its the way you carry yourself, more than how you look. If you feel confident and sexy, they guy will want to see more of you.
I'm not sure. I'm having the same problem..
