I try to be a nice guy, but I just became single again. My buddy is a jerk to his gf, but she is carzy about him and loyal to him. He tells me to find a girl just for sex like he has. He tells me never to buy the cow. Should I listen?

Don't take advice from an a**hole like him. She might be loyal because she doesn't know what he says behind her back to you.
And if you buy the cow you can get milk for ever, you just need to feed the cow. And when you do you will feel better about yourself and be more responsible.
So why not invest in what lasts longest?
The milk is never completely free anyways. You still have to pay for it in the shops. Lol.
It's just sad how people use others, act so selfish. You do need to be aware that every time you dump someone, cheat on someone, you break a little piece of their heart, maybe not all of it, but little by little. You contribute to other peoples emotional baggage - LEARN IT!!!

Well, look at this way..your friend is the type of guy that give good guys a bad name...and when you want to find that perfect girl..you can't.... because they are afraid to commit to anything because they have been burned or worse...You are old enough to know ....what is the right thing to do...and of coarse we have heard that cliche' over and over again...that it kinda getting old..but we use it to make it known to teeny boppers that they should practice NO SEX..cause junior high level boys can be hurtful and tell what they do to young teenage girls to other junior high boys..but it seems men never grow out of it.....and they call women gossips HA... anyway..I think you are a nice guy and you know how to treat a lady and I think you want to do what is expected of you as a gentleman..go on and do it and tell your friend MAn you act like when we were in Junior high Grow Up..I think you need to be the man and take the lead of being that really swell guy...good luck..

Obviously, you're not a jerk, like your friend, or number one, you would not have referred to him as the "jerk" that he is, and number two, you wouldn't be asking this question.
Deep down inside, you already know the right answer...it's unfair to use any human being. Especially to use someone's body and then to toss them away, disregarding their feelings or emotional wellbeing.
Stuff like what your friend is doing ruins women for LIFE.
Listen, but let it go right out the other side. You already have a good conscience. You know the right answer.

The reason boys end up "buying the cow" is to prevent anybody else from getting the milk. Girls marry for love. Guys marry to possess.
As for your buddy, my brother's motto is; "Treat'em like sh!t, they always come crawling back!" As much as I hate to admit it, it seems to work for him. He has that "Bad Boy Rep" and the girls he goes out with sort of expect him to be a total A$$hole anyway.

It all depends on what makes you happy, man. If you are uncomfortable being with someone just for the sex, then find that special someone instead.
Look, even if it is for a short time, why not enjoy the time you do have together? NOt every relationship works out. That's why we date and find someone who fits with us.
If it doesn't work out with one girl, it's not like it's the end of the world. It will feel like it for a bit, but it will eventually subside and you will move on and find someone who does fit.
The key is to find what makes you happy, someone who shares that with you and shares her happiness with you. Keep searching till you find her.

I say don't rush. Women are just as bad as men nowadays. Have fun, play a little and if you find one you really like, then go for it. But don't listen to your friend. I'd be willing to bet, she may not be as naive as he thinks~
