I am a guy, 31 of age, exboyfriend of a person that left me, and all things for me explain that she is not over her ex who died couple of years ago. She was sometimes frustrated with me for no reason, like I don't do things I am suppose to do in a loving relationship (like: you are not doing what my ex used to do with me/us since she had kids from a previous marriage).

After time does it works, I think she will realize she let a person go for silly reasons (actually I finished the relationship since her attitudes were driving me insane, since I was not doing anything wrong), but I wonder, once things are in peace and she realize, any chances she will call me (because I was getting along great with her and her kids, also sleeping in her place when kids where in their bedroom, etc). I don't know, it's confusing and I wonder if a person will either look for a new person, or will go back to the pastures she had before, because we were a NICE couple.

I'm 25 years old and beofre he proposed, we were not in an exclusive relationship, we were friends and I was never really attracted to him physically. He's 35 y.o, stable job, has a good job and plenty of money in the bank, he respects me and loves me but I'm scared to marry him. He's a great guy but I'm reluctant to marry him since I was never really attracted to him. We're spending a lot of time together now that we're engaged but I'm still not 100% sure because of how he look.k Is this shallow of me? Should I go on with it since looks aren't as important as personality and how he treats me?

A few months ago I said to my boy that I would like to have a piercing in my belly. U know, those tiny and cute ones: stars etc something small and cute.; And he said:no! only tramps pierce their belly button. I forgot all about it. I didn't really ment that although I would someday pierce my belly button. I never opened the discussion again or stress him or show him I'm upset.
Few days ago he says: why don't u wanna make a pircing in your belly button, it's sexy. He really meant it.

he was 36 years old and renting a portion of a friend's house until he found his own place? My intentions are to get a house or condo in the next year, but I need to save more money for the downpayment until then. Now , what would she have said she doesnt want to ruin a frienship?? Without meaning it, I asked her straight up to be honest, and I know she isnt lying. What should I do? I mean I know nothing is gonna happen in the near future, but maybe when she matures a little bit, or decides to take the risk to date me, I mean, I like her so much, and am just not ready to let her go. I know she is afraid of me breakin her heart, because she told one of her friends, that she doesnt like how many girlfriends I've had that Ive broken up with. I tried to communicate with this guy whom I met on line about 6 months ago. I asked if he was afraid of me and if he was afraid that he might feel rejected by me. His answers to both questions are "yes". I think there's a link between his fear of me and of rejection on my part, although I don't know what's the cause of such fears. I've got a better education than he (master's vs. bachelor's), and my English proficiency is a lot better than his. I always sense his insecure feelings, though I don't know why he feels this way. What are your opinions? I thank you for sharing with me your opinions in advance.

I've been seeing a guy for about 3 months now and we do everything a normal couple does he refuses to call it a relationship with titles and all because he's committment phobic because of some past pain, i don't feel that this is fair to me. Well anyways While not happy with situation I am happy with him , we're 'open ended' but neither of us is seeing anyone else.
so anyways lately i've met and started to really enjoy the company of a neighbour.. should i start something with him since the first guy isn't going to go anywhere relationshipwise anytime soon or just concentrate on him and what we do have?

I hate having the girlfriend relationship without all of the perks like being closed and yes even the stupid title.

For those wondering I would much rather have the guy i'm seeing but if it's not going anywhere and we're open why not see where it's going with my neighbor?

He thinks he's better than anyone else, especially you, and even though he's a year younger he thinks he's smarter than you, and made you feel like no matter how hard you tried, you were just short of good enough. Relationships are about sharing life & it's best with a friend. Values for a life partner are also very important. If I get all of this and get turned by her I’ll be very happy.

Typically I've been attracted 1st, 2nd got to know her as a friend, 3rd, sex & the chemicals. The chemicals kick in 4a year then I'm great at being a friend so that lasts 2years (3 yrs). Then typically there has been something wrong, i.e: shared values. This hasn’t quite clicked & end up going in different directions & splitting up with resentment

This time my approach is going to be:

1) who am i attracted to, physically, chemically, sexually?
2) what are their values, are we compatible?
3) dreams and future stuff?
4) can we be good friends?

if these are all OK then sex, because it's the sex that gets me into a relationship which isn't really going to work well long term.

Let me know what you think specially women in between ages of 28 -38 think it will work or what is wrong with the approach
