It also depends on how you look. Do you take care of your self and your body or do you not care? Are you in shape or out of shape? There are more important things here.
Firemen in general are sexy to me because of the very nature of their job. They are everyday heros saving people and their homes. That says a lot about the kind of people they are to me.
Italian men in general are sexy to me because I love their dark smoldering looks.
So while you sound very attractive in both looks and personality, in reality you could be an unattractive jerk. Ask them women you know for a more accurate opinion on your personality and looks. If you don't have female friends that you trust, then ask the wives of your fellow firefighters. I'm sure some of them are married or dating a women who could answer this for you.
