I just started dating this guy, we are both freshman in college, I adore him, and he buys me the world already. He already got me a Fish, 30 bucks in chinese, and took me out for an expensive diner.

His Birthday is coming up september 6th. I have no car but i might be able to get a ride to the mall.

What in the world should I get him

He likes baseball and fishing, he is a country boy and I am a NYC girl.

Please give me some ideas
and no i will not be giving him my virginity so don't offer that

I really like this girl I am dating. I am somewhat religous and have a very strong faith. I am not sure how to approach it, but my last realtionship ended because of this. I don't want to invest 2 years of my life only to have her say she does not believe in God again. Will i scare her away if I give her the ultimatum of faith now?? ive been with this guy for almost 3 yrs... im a lil well off and he's not...im working on a degree and he's graduate as a car technician... he's almost perfect except for the fact that i think he cant raise our own family someday..i mean ill be working too...but thats all he got... he's "tryin" but nobody wants to accept him coz he doesnt have a good degree.. do u think breaking up with him for that sole reason is stupid?he never gave me problems and was close to my family but even my parents start to question what role would he be playing in our future coz of that career...what do u think? am i stupid when i break up with him coz of that?

Okay, I have this colleague in my work. He avoids me coz he thinks I like him and that I'm making a move on him but I'm just being friendly and that I'm just trying to make conversations with him coz I think he'll be a good friend. But the way he acts around me, avoiding me when he sees me, ignoring me when we're a having dinner together in a group while he talks to every girl, I can't help thinking that he thinks I have a huge crush on him and that I'm trying to get it on with him.

One time we were both with a female co-worker, he and I. He ignores me at all and doesn't talk to me which I think is rude. He just talks to her instead.

How can I show him I am NOT in love with him and I'm just trying to be friendly? I've tried ignoring him but I think it didn't work coz now he thinks the reason why I'm ignoring him is because I like him!

Last Dec. I met up with a guy I went to school with overseas and we really felt "right" for each other. It got serious. When I visited this Aug. the first night he was very sweet, affectionate, even saying his parents wanted to have lunch. Out of fear and stupidity, I played it cool. I mentioned that a doctor friend was flying in to meet me, he didn't seem too thrilled. The next day we met for dinner and he was cold. When relationships came up he was snappy and basically said he wasn't interested in me anymore. I pretended to be happy that he had no expectations. He called once the next day to check in and asked, "how's your doctor?" but I didn't see him the rest of the trip, despite our plans. I called and cried about losing our friendship and he was pretty cold. When I got home, I wrote him telling him the truth about how I felt, but hasn't replied. I think he reacted out of jealously, feeling "played." I am visiting again in Dec. Please help sort this out. what can I do?

ok, i am a guy, and as such, i do some really stupid crap without knowing it was the wrong thing to do until it is too late

i didn't know what question to specifically ask, so i asked a general question.

First off I am currently 8 hours away from her, but i travel there anyways once a month for my family and friends. I am nearly 19 and she is 18, and ive liked her for more then 1 1/2 years, and its been a year since i asked her out last and i got the ol just friends answer. Now, lately I have been seeing her alot lately, and we hang out together alone nearly the whole time we are together and she has gotten very comfortable with me and I feel like shes giving me signs, but because I was wrong the first time I'm sketchy with this, could just be my imagination. Should I take the chance and ask her, even though im scared she will say no if i ask because she might feel pressed for an answer, or that i may hurt her cause I'm more reckless then her. Its also worth noting that i have dated alot of girls, but i can't get over this one, shes never dated, also her parents really like me. I met a much older guy at church. His mom and mine are good friends. His first wife died 10 years ago, and his second wife divorced him 1 year ago. We didn't get to talk with each other until his mom was seriously ill. Some time after his mom past away, I started to notice little things he did. He chooses to sit at the same side where I sit at church. When I switched side, he did the same. He casts glances at me when I interact with others. Day before yesterday as he was on his way home, his eyes were fixed on me although he was answering someone else's questions. I don't know if this could mean that he's begun to take an interest in me. What do you think? Your help is appreciated.

Me and my ex broke up 4 years ago and we haven't seen or heard from each other since then. 2 months ago we started emailing each other on myspace. I wrote him an email last week asking him to meet up with me for lunch. He was on myspace today and he never answered me. I'm not sure whether I should jump to conclusions and assume that he didn't want to talk to me or if I should just wait and see.

More Details: We ended on okay terms but I got pregnant soon after by another man and moved on with my life. I'm not all that interested on getting back with him...
