Me and my ex broke up 4 years ago and we haven't seen or heard from each other since then. 2 months ago we started emailing each other on myspace. I wrote him an email last week asking him to meet up with me for lunch. He was on myspace today and he never answered me. I'm not sure whether I should jump to conclusions and assume that he didn't want to talk to me or if I should just wait and see.
More Details: We ended on okay terms but I got pregnant soon after by another man and moved on with my life. I'm not all that interested on getting back with him... I just would like to talk about what happened between us a couple years back and find out how life has been treating him face to face rather than through emails. Did I scare him off?

If you feel like talking to him will benefit you in a real way, then there's no harm in it. Make sure he understands that you have no interest in trying to get back together with him, and make sure your new guy understands as well. If he doesn't answer in about a week, send him a follow up message saying it was great catching up and that you hope he'll keep in touch, but don't try to push him into meeting with you.

I dont think there is any need in interacting with him anymore.
He was ur past. Now ur living ur new life. Forget whatever happened in the past. Even ur ex must be thinking how u got back, even if its just for a talk. Stay away from him. This might create misunderstandings in between ur both's present spouses.

i htink you did scare him off but anyway nevermind him ask him again and tell him the reason y u want to meet u with him and that u dont have any intentions of getting back with him if thats wat he's scared of.
