If you are good friends with him you stand a chance to ruin your friendship. If not tell him. Let him know you lik him what is it going to hurt. If he says yes you got him, if he says no what have you lost.

first, ask a friend that knows him to start talking about stuff and then bring up the subject like "hey have u met my friend?? do u like her??" then u just go up to him theres nothing to be afraid of he's just a person.
