I had been seeing a man for a while now almost every weekend, so when I expressed that I wanted us to be exclusive, he has backed away instead. Why is this? Is there anything I can do about it now? Thank so much for your help - because it's difficult...

When I was younger I wanted to have children and a family but my reasons were pretty jacked up. First I wanted to be a house wife so I could stay home with my kids to raise them, but then I started getting extremely indulged in my career and now marriage and children do not fit into my equation and I've discarded the thought of pursuing a man in that direction. I'm in a long term monogomous relationship and I kind of think that because he wasn't ready to get married and have kids when we first met that now he missed out on the opportunity with me...I don't know if I've conditioned myself to feel this way or if I really don't want kids and a husband of my own anymore...Its like he took all the fun out of the elements of uncovering mystery, making plans, and being surprised. : ( Plus I don't think he'd be a good father...I don't think he'd be involved enough...like he'd set them up with video games and leave the room all the time but rarely plan educational activities for them.

Every relationship i've ever been in the girl has always expected me to plan the dates or what we're doing. I'm 23 yrs old and i am a bit of a romantic so i don't mind for the most part, but i've never had a woman do anything "special" for me, why is that? are women more selfish than men?

Im not sure what to do.... I care for him soo much and I know i am in love with him... It has been about 5 months now and i want to say I love you but im scared he wont say it back... Is there any way i can hint towards it or should i just tell him flat out... Or should i wait for him to say it first? Okay, here goes... I was involved with someone who had a woman. I had just gotten out of a relationship and he manipulated me into bed. I could have stopped it there but I didn't. This man made me feel so good after feeling so bad for so long(3 1/2 yrs). He would tell me that we were going to be together, etc. Well, he obviously lied and I know that I probably should have know I was being played but I let my heart take the lead. He hasn't called me or contacted me in any way except through friends to get some of his things back. I haven't contacted him either, I just need some closure on the situation. I knew that he was involved with someone else so I know that some people will think that I got what I deserved. I just want to know why he did and said some things. I just wanted him to be honest with me and he wasn't. I want to know why he would do this to me knowing the situation. So, what do you guys think, should I email him and hope for a response or just let it go?

I am not looking to get back together with my exgf. We have moved on. We both know that we dont work together. But she was my first love and every once and a while....i miss her so much that i want to cry. The chemistry between us was amazing. We broke up a few years ago...this isnt fresh. It just pops up ever so often and makes me sad. How can I make it completely go away so that I can offer my full heart to my new gf (together only a couple months now) and reciprocate entirely the love and affection that she showers me with? She treats me soooo much better than my ex ever did and is genuine...she deserves the world from me....i want her to have it.

I saw this guy at a public transport station for four days regularly three weeks ago. But he couldn't initiate a conversation for some reason but he shows that he is interested (from his eyes when he sees me). So y'day (accidently I saw him) so I sat beside him thou pretending not to show any interest and he turned at me to make eye contact maybe to pick up a conversation but I was shy and didn't turn to him. Today he sat in the same seat where we usually see each other and he turned to look at me before I boarded in and I was shy and went and sat on a different seat. He got up immediately and walked out to a different seat. Why ? I like him. Do you think I still have a chance ? What should I do to show that I'm still interested ?

So I met this guy on vacation about 3 weeks ago who happened to live in the same city as me. He called me when we were both back from vaca and asked me out. we went on a date and had a really great time. He called a few days later and asked to meet me after work for a drink. i was busy but told him i would meet up with him at some point during the night. i went and had a great time again. he called the next day and said that he was going to be out of town for about a week and that he would call me when he got back.. well he is back now and he called and I am seeing him tonight. I really really like him but dont want to scare him. I have been burned pretty bad in the past and am scared that this is all just going to end. Should I tell him how I feel or is it too soon?

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 1 year and now he doesn't want to be with me, everything will be going fine and then all the sudden he'll say he doesn't think it is working or it will work. I love him so much and i want to be with him, I need to know how to get over him, because i want to call him and see him and it is hard not to pick up the phone and call him.
