He has been hurt before, whether it was from a girl or family. He has a wall up to protect himself from hurting again. He does love you if he says you have his heart. Just give him time some wounds run deep and take lots of time to heal.

coming from a guy..he has probably either been rejected or hurt by girls in the past. So its very hard for him to get into the love mode easily. The best bet is to hang in there
(if you really want to) and show him that he can trust you. Hey aleast he is telling you how he feels which takes guts. You have a guy there that will be good to you if you be good to him.

I'm not sure what he means exactly but its not good whatever it is. If he tells you he is not capable of loving I say walk. Nothing good can come out of a statement like that.

Sounds as if he does not want to tell you directly that he doesn't care for you enough to fall in love with you..saying that you have his heart is a cheap way out on his part..

He means that he really just want to be friends. He's not through playing around yet. He's basically saying, "You just hold on and when I'm done playing, I'll be sure to call you and let you know. He is full of SH**!! He'll never love because he's not ready to.

sounds like he is the type you will have to prove your self over and over again and with no reason. sounds like he has a lot of exta left over baggage. if you love him give it a whirl but if you could go either way i would leave.
