Singles & Dating - 13 June 2006

I met a guy and started seeing each other for a couple of weeks. I live abroad and he is back in the UK in the forces. We said we would both stay friends and enjoy texting and emailing each other as he was going away for a while. When he first left we had regular contact, however i have emailed and texted him and had no reply for a couple of weeks. I am concerned that he is okay as he could be somewhere dangerous. I can't see that I have done anything wrong and don't understand why he hasn't been in touch. We got on very well and had a good laugh. There was really no harm in emailing each other. I dont know whether to leave it or maybe try again in a couple of months. The last email I had was very positive and said he would be in touch soon. I am confused. What should I do?

My boyfriend and I have been dating on and off for about two and a half years now. My parents despise him, my friends hate him, and everyone knows we are not right for each other. I do love him, but he isn't what I want anymore. I have tried to break up with him many times, but he calls me constantly, and my house, or he'll show up at my house crying. He talks about suicide and how he can't live without me. One time he followed me and drove in the lane of oncoming traffic...I need advice on how to get him OUT of my life for good...any suggestions?

well, I have been dating my boyfriend for 4 years now and have been madly in love. Just recently I found out that in the first year of dating cheated on me and lied when I questioned him. He actually lied to me a lot about the whole situation he kept on creating new lies everytime I would find out a little bit of what happened. The problem is that he is jealous of other guys that are around me and is afraid that I will cheat on him. I do get a lot of attention from men but would never do anything. Should I end this relationship? or will he be true to me and stop worrying about me with other men? I mean do you think that he will cheat on me again? the thing is that when my friends found out her cheated on me the were honestly in shock, because when my boyfriend is around me he acts as if there is no other girl in the world. I told him to get out when hw first finally told me and that I never wanted to see him again, but he got really upset and I did let him back. Was that a good thing?

I was seeing a man who is 21 years older than me until about 6 months ago. We split up due my depression and he wouldn't stop talking, and I mean incessantly!!! Anyway, 6 months later, I still can't stop thinking about him.I think there's a lot of unfinished business. I met this girl a while back, but due to some unique circumstances I've been forced to wait for this girl for over a year. And I'm fine with that because she's worth it. In order to make waiting easier, I feel the need to always talk to her and communicate. She has opposite feelings regarding this, she gets frustrated by talking because she can't have what she wants so it's easier for her not to talk as much. She described it as, if she gave up chocolate for lent she woudln't want someone dangling chocolate in front of her face the whole time. I'm just trying to be empathetic for this and understand and I can't completely. I just want to know if these feelings she's having and her way of approaching this is normal.

I absolutley fell in love with a women that I recently met from Brazil. She was only in the states for a few weeks, but she was unforgetable !!! My heart broke when she went back home.
