I answered another question earlier regarding this same topic and it's really getting old hearing others criticize this whole age difference issue between men and women today. If two people are of legal age and mature enough to make competent decisions about other matters in life then this too is their right and others should either accept it and be happy for them or STFU!
Personally I think the ones who criticize and bytch the most are the ones that are always using the media and social hype of sexual perversion as their foundation for opposing this age difference. In reality, I suspect they're actually the perverted ones which is why they see a perversion in it in the first place.
Be happy together and if others can't be happy for you then put them out of your lives.

um... they should cool down! in the old days this was the most normal thing and even today older men marry young women! i had this thing with a 30 year old guy and im only 16!! now im into a guy thats 23... so? if your happy thats all that matters! i think its much more normal for the man t be older than at about the same age cause sorry to say women become mature at a much younger age so we can only find older men that have the same maturity! go on with your girlfriend and do not let others try to break yall up!!!

Age difference is always a problem for some people. The bottom line is whether the two of you are happy. Most of the girls I dated when I was younger were about 10 years older than me and that was just as difficult for my family and friends to understand.

Who cares about what others think?! Do you? I don't!
My dear the most important thing is to be happy with her, then the other things don't matter at all.
I am in the beginnings of a relationship same as yours. I'm 23 and he has the same age as you.
I'm thinking a lot about the disadvantages that age may bring to us, but up to now we feel just fine.
So my darling, don't give a damn about what others think and be happy!
Good luck

For starters, they're being jealous and judgemental where they have no right or business to be. As long as both of you are of legal age and exercising free will, that is. Yes, sometimes relatives will question - that's okay; we all want the best for those we love. But even then, after expressing their concerns - and please be gracious enough to allow them to do so - it's time for them to step back, too.
Whether this remains a good and proper relationship is, ultimately, your decision and hers. Hey - lots of us older guys have had sweet young things, including me - and it was bloody wonderful for both of us! Good luck with your new squeeze!

Nothing, it's just an opinion. They say that when you get older age isn't as big a factor when you date. Now you and you're girl have a really big gap but love is blind. It knows no race, age, sex, ethnicity, creed, or social position. As long as you can handle the stares you'll be fine.

Their timing (age) is wrong. When they will be of ur age, they will find no reason of being wrong.

We all are habitual of seeing from our place and make all decision based on our view. The day they will learn seeing from other's place, they will not find things wrong.

I am 36. Tell me tricks of getting one girl friend.

Its easier said than done, but don't listen to them. Its just you and her and what makes you happy. You try to do what everyone else thinks is the right thing, you're going to be miserable. I know from experience. By the way......I'm 40 and my boyfriend is 27. Its difficult sometimes knowing that I'm being judged, but I just have remember that they aren't living my life, I am, and he makes me very happy.
