My boyfriend and I have been dating on and off for about two and a half years now. My parents despise him, my friends hate him, and everyone knows we are not right for each other. I do love him, but he isn't what I want anymore. I have tried to break up with him many times, but he calls me constantly, and my house, or he'll show up at my house crying. He talks about suicide and how he can't live without me. One time he followed me and drove in the lane of oncoming traffic...I need advice on how to get him OUT of my life for good...any suggestions?

Suicide is a serious matter no doubt but this is his deal not yours. He should not tell you this if he loves you in my opinion he wouldn't fill you with guilt. Simple if he kills himself or has it in him then it's going to happen sooner or later with or without you.
case studies show 87% of those that carry out suicide never tell anyone. 12% who carry it out do so because they miscalculate someone stopping them. and the 1% left beg for help.
This is a toxic relationship your in but hey do not feel guilty and tell him it is over and to move on. Your never going to find happiness in this pit of hell relationship your in.

That's pretty serious, you should really be asking a professional counselor. But the long and short of it is you have to break up with him. You can't stay with him without it possibly hurting you emotionally for years and with him it might even become physically painful. Tell him that you still care about him but you feel that right now neither of you are in the right place to maintain the relationship. Then break off all communications, he will then have to decide if he is strong enough to get the help he needs, sadly he may not get it and end up hurting him self, but at is not your fault. All you can do is control your actions and hope he gets help but staying with him is not an option.

He is trying to control you with the way he is acting. He wants you to pity him and he wants you to think that his life is in your hands. Do not take that. Call someone you trust and tell them about it and don't let him do things to himself. Try and put it into the hands of a professional, such as a psychologist or therapist or even one of his close friends. That way you can get yourself out of the situation. I would say that he was just threatening to do that just so you would stay with him, but if he did attempt to screw around in traffic, he really needs help and you shouldn't be the one with the burden on your shoulders. just have some cops out infront of the house watching
if he tries, he'll go 2 jail

YOu should move to another city and don't let him know where you are. Being suicidal should not hold you ransom. Your life is more important. Not that his life is not, but since he is not the one for you, do something about it before it drags on for years.

i had a guy that was kinda like that but not suicudel. i know what you feel. you want him to leave you alone but you dont wanna hurt him. just tell him that its not working out for you guys. just tell him that you need a break. then graduley push him away. or introduce him to another hot girl.
