I`ve known this bloke for 3 years. He insists he is divorced. He has a 6 year old who lives with his ex and he visits them every other weekend. He refuses to tell his ex about me, saying that she will make it difficult for him to see his child if he tells her he is seeing someone else. How do I know that he is being genuine when he insists that there is nothing whatsoever between him and his ex wife when he refuses to tell her anything about me?

I really care deeply for him, but he is so shy...how can I get him to open up some?...he's never been with anyone before so this is all so new to him and I don't want him to feel pressured, but I want him to know just how much I care for him and know that I would never hurt him, I have told him these things but how can I show him to remove all doubt from his mind?

Do I talk to him about how I am heads over heals about him or do I start making excuses why I can't come over every night he invites me? Or do I just go at his pace and if he invites me, accept his invites and if he doesn't invite, don't offer to bring him lunch, or drop by?

A small miracle can be defined as a significant emotional event (any self help book on the market usually references a S.E.E), taking action on something Oprah suggests, or refusing to listen to Sex and the City validating fear for women in the form of countless meaningless sexual encoutners (samantha), intellectualizng and rationalizing (miranda), honoring traditional family values despite conflciting with modern societal norms of instant gratifcation at any expense(charlotte), and living in denial as a indecisvie placator (carrie). And the most significant part of a small miracle in context to my question is a female finally rising up and CHOOSING to not let all of her life's influneces close her off to any potential she has.

But, after dating for a few months they begin to change and you become less important. In the beginning he missed you if you didn't see eachother for a day and told you he missed you. I don't doubt my b/friend loves me we're both 25 and I don't think we'd be in the relationship if we didn't want to be together. Yet, he has changed and time with me has become less important.
