Don't decide before-hand. See where it goes. If you feel like it, go for it. Don't feel pressure to kiss him. If the date goes well, there will probably be another one, so what's the rush?

If he starts to go for it, and you're OK with it then ya. But if at the end of the night your left standing with an awkward pause, ask for a hug. Hugs are good and that way, it could lead to a kiss, or if he's really a good guy, he'll give you a sweet kiss on the cheek.

Of course its ok to kiss him on a 1st date. Just do what you feel is right on the date.
