Becaue when you're drunk your judgement is bad. Whether it is a good excuse or not..it may be valid. I know I have done some pretty dumb stuff when I was drinking. Best wishes

This truly depends on the man himself. IMHO, the the depth of the guy's character is a tell-all. If he believes "I was drunk", is a valid reason, he doesn't have much character to begin with. You're more than likely to find this happening with the same individual... There are a better class of guys than this though. Hope this helps.

these guys are good at not taking responsibility for their actions. I hate these kind of guys.
I was drunk is their excuse for saying hurtful things or hitting people later on down the road. If this excuse is not thrown out, the guy will never grow up and learn to take responsibility for his own actions.
When the consequenses of "I was drunk" are unpleasant enough, he might stop it. Ask him what he would say if he killed a pedestrian? Would he say I was drunk and make everything okay?

Because they really don't have an excuse and so they try to come up with something they think makes them not responsible for their actions. By the way...just because you are drunk does not cut it if there is an unwanted pregnancy, AIDS or STD. You can also get genital herpes very easily because as far as I know alcohol is not protection for two people who just want a physical relief.

the only reason why it is a valid excuse is because women aloow it to be. how many times have you heard a girl talk about her guy "well, he wasn't really cheating on me because he was drunk. he wouldn't do that to me if he was sober..."
if your guy can not stay straight when intoxicated, then drinking is not for him, and niether is a relationship.

Men and woman are just different creatures. For men it is all about making sure you have offspring, natures drive to keep the species around for a new generation. For women it is all about finding a good provider, mostly someone who will help them feel safe. Just because we have built environments which isolate us from nature, natures’ rules still apply. This same behavior has been around at least since biblical time.
I hope you find someone who cares enough for you they are willing to go against nature and be true to you.

Its not it is a bold face lie. Stand up to what u did. Its gooing to hurt u or the other person but that is the result of 5 minutes or however long the pleasure was. The question is was it worth it.Now u have to be aware of the get back.

guy think its a good excuse for cheating becuz its a well known fact that when your drunk your not really sure what yur doing. But thats still not a real excuse

not all guys think that way......
i even know ladies that think that is a valid reason....
when ppl are drunk judgement is imparied...... maybe if your ex or what ever hadn't been drunk they wouldn't have cheated.... but maybe they would have.......
pretty much its a simple excuse
