A dozen roses on a first date? I think you guys are crazy!! I think a mixed cd is way more thoughtful...plus I am a music geek...

I think it's cool.....years ago, in my mother's and father's day it was flowers and stuff like that...now it's still cool to bring flowers but a mixed cd is great. There's nothing wrong with showing your interest or affection for someone....plus, sharing music you like with someone, or giving someone a cd of music you know they like, will show them a bit of your personality. I vote yes.

I don't think bringing her a mixed cd is lame. To be honest, bringing flowers is corny to me, everybody does that on a first date.

BUT... maybe you should get to know her preferences first? 'Cause then you wouldn't be bringing her Rock 'n Roll for instance, when she is actually a Jazzgirl. You feel me?

Try to do something special on the date, discuss music (wink), so that on the second or third date you'd come out big with a beautiful arrangement of music you both like??

Lame. If you two start going out for a few months and you really like each other, maybe start to have even stronger feelings, then a CD of songs that remind you of her would be appropriate!

Lame. One pink rose would be cool. Don't go overboard with a whole lot or red roses. Too much for a first date.

Wait for the 2nd date. Not only it may look lame, you may not like the girl and wasted a perfectly good CD on her!

I would say only if
1) You already spent time together so she won't find the fact taht you took that much time to make her a CD creepy
2) if you are absolutely certain that it's the music she likes
3) If she follows it with a happy ending... know what I'm sayin??

I think if you like the girl that it would be kind of cute especially if it has like some cute lil love songs on it or something.

As long as it's not a mix of Korn and Robert Goulet, you should be fine.
