I really care deeply for him, but he is so shy...how can I get him to open up some?...he's never been with anyone before so this is all so new to him and I don't want him to feel pressured, but I want him to know just how much I care for him and know that I would never hurt him, I have told him these things but how can I show him to remove all doubt from his mind?

Take your time, trust is earned by deed not word. I'm sure he has confidence issues and having a loving woman show she cares about his feelings will boost that alot! Good luck!

I would try to be more outgoing than he probably will be (since he's shy). Tell him that it's okay to take it slow, and that you're willing to do that no matter how long it takes.

move at his pace. if you truly care for him, it shouldnt be hard...after all, wouldnt you want a guy to do the same for you in a similar situation?

Just be patient and let him know that he can be himself with you and that you like him for what he is

try to get him to laugh and kinda joke around. try being less serious
