Okay so my family is Jewish-Orthodox, and i absolutely HATE it. They make me wear skirts to school, even though i go to a public high school, so im the ONLY 1 wearing skirts. i feel very akward being the only 1. but thats not it. on rosh hashana (the jewish new year) i got in trouble for picking up my cell phone. u no and i dont even believe 1/2 the stuff, like not using a computer, or watching tv, or using an ipod on shabbat (saturday). u wanna show me where it prohibits usage of the above stated in the bible? yah i didnt think so. the rabbis decided this. i missed the homecoming dance cuz "shabbat" wasnt over when it started and my parents refused to let me go. its a load of crap if u ask me. like, ill be 15 in less than a month (!!!) so am i wrong thinking i have the right to make my own decision when it comes to religion? its my life!! not my parents. its a decision that i myself need to make. its also creating fights btwn me and my mom, & as always my dad backs my mom

I think i have a sort of problem because in the past four months, i am constantly sad all the time and this is spiralling out of control. i used to have really great friends who i was loyal to until they went nasty and went immaturish. they became people who only lived to fool around and laugh at people and crack jokes. i never found them funny and they cant take things seriously and they usually take bad situations as a joke. but they countlessly make fun out of everything and its driving me to the bend. i coudnt ditch them because i gave them chances and they expected me to be fun and be just like them. to entertain each other and be fun to be with. they became class clowns and i feel i have to be like them so i try to be funny too and hope to be accepted so they ignore me because i aint like them. now i cant stop and i feel i have to be fun to everyone and its making me annoyed. i always worry how i can be like them and accept me. i cant stop worrying about this!!!! thx alot!

i need some honest advise!

would it be wrong for an 18 year old (female) to see a 16 year old (male)? i just can help but think its pervy and wrong...people would think im taking advantage of him as im the 'adult' and he's just a 'child'.

buut i dont know, he keeps saying age doesnt matter but it does to me people are going to look down on me! and u know, i dont what to be getting in to that sort of situation where ill be called a perve.

most people wouldnt take me for an 18 year old anyway...not that that makes things any different.

would would u do in this situation? :S

basically since this year has started i have changed but not good but bad let me tell you how first i was so into my work and education i was very hard working girl and didn't find doing work a big deal. But when i had a friend wedding i did alot of work there and she was asian therefore it went on for 2 weeks i did so much work didn't had enough sleep neither had enough food. but although me doing the most work as takling care of the visitors and cleaning the house i used to feel it everyday that no one wants me to be their as they thought i am a servant.then when it all finished i started to feel really weak then finally found out that i am diagnosed with aneamic. it hurted. the other thing is that i had a arranged marriage proposal and i agreed and got engaged but then afterwords i felt so bad as i have agreed to life time prison. But all this changed my own personality. Now i don't wanna meet people neithr want to study i just bunk and neither study i do get stress out when i don'

Ok, so it's 2 years tomorrow since my girlfriend and I started dating and I'm stuck between 2 choices.

I've booked theatre tickets for a show I know she wants to see, but what about dinner?

Would you prefer to be cooked a meal at home (I'm not too bad a cook, so it's not gonna be beans on toast!) then go out to the theatre, or go to a restaraunt and then the show?

Everyone has at least one thing they want for Christmas. What's that ONE item you want? Make it reasonable too now people! Don't say spaceship or airplane lol......something reasonable: iPod Touch, a certain car, PS3 (for example).

Well mines is a newer SUV. I would love to have a newer model Ford Explorer ........although I wouldn't mind a BMW X5 lol. Thats mine tho, whats yours?

Hi, I am 16 years old and my boyfriend is 17 years old. We've been going out since October 10th, 2006- So it's been a little over a year. And do my parents know about him? Yes, they both like him and I think that they know it's been over a year.
We used to live near each other (like a 10min walk), but we both moved. =/ So basically we have a long distance relationship now.

Anyway, the thing is... He's very verbally abusive and it hurts me so much and makes me scared. I cry alot, and whenever I try to call him to tell him how i'm feeling, he always says something like "you're crying about things that don't exist in your head. like how you think i'm cheating on you, or if i'm gonna break up with you." and he always says this " I used to care when you cry, but now I don't since you cheated on me (i cheated on him for a month. personal problem)." He always calls me a ***** and always brings up the past, when he should be happy that we've been together for so long.

we broke up a little over a week ago but we're staying close because we both want to get back togerher, we just need to fix things. two days ago we met up at college and we were talking and we kissed. she asked me if I wanted to go to lunch or something and I told her that I couldnt. then I turned around to pack my stuff up and when I turned back around she was gone. I asked her what happened to her and she said nothing, she just left.
why did she do that without saying bye?
