many schools have a Valentine's Day program which involves the student council distributing flowers & chocolates form one student to another(that is,if you did pay for it).but is this,really neceassary?

my school does that too,& today there were a lot of misunderstandings & confusions.my crush apparently thought that I had sent him a "Friendship" rose annoymously,whereas i was never a person to do things in a round-abt manner).

a couple of my guy friends played a joke on my best friend,Anjuli-they sent this guy a rose saying that it's from her.he received the rose,& then it was taken away because she denied sending it.(imagine how he would have felt)
only a couple of girls got roses in my whole grade,compared to the guys.(are traditions being reversed?).some people even send flowers to themselves,so that they can brag abt how many they got.(is it a competition?)& of course,there was also a lot of people who didn't get anything.(i wonder how many broken hearts went home today)

I have been living in this apartment for one month now. Since day one the above apartment has a child (rougly about 2 years old). I understand living beneath someone their is going to be noise. Such as hearing their washing machine, T.V. and hearing people walk. I also hear this child run constantly which is part of being a child I know. The issue with me is the constant running and jumping late at night until early morning. I am being serious, the child has woken me up from bed at 2 in the morning. I work from 8 to 5 and I need my sleep. I usually go to bed around 11 and it's so hard for me to sleep due to the running and jumping all night long. I talked to the Mother upstairs and explained to her the situation and she apologized and would settle the child down. A week went by and still the same. I called the landlord and he said he can't do anything about it. But in my lease it has rules bout the disturbance of neighbors being an issue. What do I do now? Thanks!!!

I just found out what my husband has been writting on here with his gf. When I confronted him with the truth he lied and said he didn't do it , but I showed him what I found on his account and then he told me it was just for fun. Also when I found the phone calls and had proof it was her he was calling he lied about that too. Why cant he just tell me the truth instead of lieing to me?

I have a friend who had two girls that love Limited Too. We were there recently and I saw an outfit that I really liked. So I tried it on and bought it for myself.
If you you don't know, L2 is a kids clothing store. I didn't care since who's going to know unless I say. And I can't help it if I'm short!

it started off that me andmy girls were going out we were at a hotel getting ready and a bus was gonna pick us up. the bus came and i was shaving my legs i hurried to the line but one of my friends took off for the bathroom. i thought she was sick so i followed. when she opened the door i so mortified heres my fiancee masterbaiting my friend takes off and i yell at him then to make him feel like crap i help him finish and he gets it all over my black pants i was pissed my friends all left and i had nothing else to wear he totally ruined my night out. and even though i helped him i was mortied and pissed off severely. i told him that the discussion wasnt over and he was in deep **** and i said i might even leave u for this. then i woke up. very confusing i dont understand what this means please any input would be of great help thank you. oh and i usually never dream or if i do dream i never remember them but this was so vivid i almost thought it was real life.please help

I am a college student and I am 21 years old. When I was at high school I have always wanted to make it to the basketball team but I couldn't because I was too short. I never had any friends untill I entered university. I had a girlfriend here but I ended up just being her rebound guy altough I liked her and cared about her a lot. And finally I failed all of my exams. My life is in ruins, so is there anyone who is optimistic enough to show me reason to live ?

is it normal for a 17 to 19 yr old guy to be in love with a 12 to 16 yr old girl....i mean any of them ages....i dont want to mention the ages so just tell me for all...is it normal and ok if the girl likes you back and your willing to wait untill shes old enough before trying anything like that and just stay close firiends....coz i really love thiss girl and shes 6or 7 yrs younger than me but i truely love her and im willing to wait and shes ok with it too....i love her and i want to marry her when shes old enough and has finished her education do you ppl think its fine...wer keeping our distance just as wer close friends and we have fun together and stuff play games do our homework i help her with her school work and encourage her to studdy while i do my work...and wer just like close friends...she likes me too...she said...so what do u think....its no more than what i told you...just good friends..her parents know me coz wer cousins far like 5th or 6th cousin removed....

I was talking to a friend the other day about how as an adult, she is really close to her mother. She said she is her best friend.
While I think that is all good since she's grown up, what about when a parent is still raising them?
I know parents that try to not upest their kids and be the "cool parent" instead.
Is there anything wrong with trying to be a friend as well as a parent or is it even possible?

My daughter likes a boy in her class, but she doesn't want to tell him. Then there is a kid that ask if she and the kid like each other, my daughter says nothing and the boy smiles and says no. My ex has told me that he has been in love with me for the last 6 yrs but never told me as I was with fiance. He told me the other night he said he couldnt hold it in any longer. I am his ex from about 7 yrs ago. He left me cos he was still in love with his other ex but then they got back together. Now he tells me this, he said he did love her but he never loved her the way he has started to love me. The mad thing is I havent seen him in 5 yrs we only kept in contact via text and phone as we hung around in the same group and he was always there for me. Things he text me years ago such as he is always here for me etc etc are all starting to make sense now if his feelings are true. I am getting married in 5 mths but still have feelings for him (not in love with him though) things are a bit rocky with fiance and myself at the mo and I think this guys attention is making feel wanted again. My fiance is struggling with new job and I have felt neglected. I think about him all the time.
