It sounds like your bf needs to find a better *pet name* for you. Ace sounds like a pet name that a man would give to another man (such as a male bonding friendly pet name).
The Ace in a deck of cards is supposed to be worth the most amount of points, so your bf is telling you that you are worth a lot to him. But he needs to show a more *romantic* way of telling you how much you mean to him.
Maybe something more romantic might be *flower* or *rose* or *gold* or *diamond* or *jewel* or *precious* or something like that, not ACE! lol
