we dated on and off for 2 years. now the silent treatment with her dumping me via email before thanksgiving. I was never able to give her the time she needed (work). I have had time to reflect how foolish I have been and I am truly sorry. I want to tell her in person, but I have respected her wishes for time being. I sent her a small christmas gift and left her a short xmas phone message xmas eve. All I have received from her is a short "thank you, that was nice" for the gift email. I really would like another shot with her. I have also lost a ton of weight and feel like a new man since we last spent meaningful time together (4 months). 15more pounds and I'll be at my most fit and athletic self which she has never seen. A friend of mine, on his own, told her this but she does not seem to care. Is this thing dead, another man? I know she really really loved me and I can't believe she could shut it down so abruptly and not give me another shot. any hope? Thx. I want to change

I love him so much and yet I know its best if I leave, but every time I try the more I dont do it and stay with him, Its like im trapped, the worst is I can not stop thinking about him I always find myself thinkinhg about him in everything I do. My neighbor upstairs named Michael used to be my friend. That was until he developed a crush on my mom. I don't like him because he drinks, smokes, and is depressing. So this xmas i will be alone as i have for the last 5 or 6 years...I would always sleep the day away and be depressed but today i am gonna just go see "the holiday" in theaters today and im pretty happy about that!. I have no family, no CLOSE friends either but acquaintenances for the most part..i don't knwo why i'm writing all this but ummm......merry christmas!!!!

New girlfriend, almost 2 months now. We go to college and are inseparable, usually. Now she's at home because her older siblings are there and she's spending a lot of family time and it's too soon for me to start spending x-mas with her fam, but my family lives in another state. I don't have the money to go see my family twice so I'm waiting until after x-mas so I can take her for new years to meet them. So I'm spending x-mas alone, waiting on her while she's having a good old time with her family. And her brother is in town from the military and since he's been in town I only get to talk to her about 30 minutes a day. I really feel like I'm on the back burner right now and it's a total flip from how things usually are. She says she feels bad that I'm alone this x-mas break but [sarcasm] I can reallly tell, haha. Am I being irrational? I really feel like she's having her cake and eating it too right now, but should I?

My siblings continue to annoy me. They show up at my work (at a gas station where I run a register) and ask questions about my personal life that they have no business even asking. It isn't my wellfare that they are concerned about, they have never cared about bettering anyone's lives but their own. Why do they have to keep prying into my life? I have been hurt by their speculations and rumors before, and talked to them about this, but it still does not stop them. Why are they doing this to me and what should I do? At work I am professional, treating them with courtesy just like any other customer, but they abuse this too. I am under a lot of stress right now, and can't take much more. I am at my wits end. Please, any information on how to protect my personal life will be much appreciated.
