Becasue alot of people don't think much of themselves, have low self esteem, and don't have anybody to tell them different. But there is always a chance to make almost anything work out as long as you try hard and want it to work. SO hope it helps and if you want to chat more, IM me anytime

yes any thing is possible, and the reason we are certain that things will never work out as most people want the easy answer, , and there is no easy way, there is a lot of work to keeping a relationship going, it requires people to consider their partner and be willing to ask hard questions, and most people do not want to do the work, nor ask the questions, so that is why we can be reasonably certain, that it is not going to work out

I'm guessing that many of the answers you're concerned about are probably coming from people who learned to expect only disappointment whenever a new relationship forms.
You're probably familiar with Pavlov's dog. Pavlov taught a dog to salivate every time it heard a bell by offering it food just after ringing a bell. Imagine what would have happened to the dog if every time every time Pavlov offered the dog food he beat the dog. The dog would probably either starve to death or eating Pavlov.
Based upon experience, if you end up being repeatedly traumatized by a loved one, and you're helpless to prevent it, it's easy for someone to conclude that love only leads to pain. Eventually, anytime someone new comes along and raises your hopes, you expect to have a bad experience again. However, all of us are aware that we need to be loved and to love. Avoiding the new relationship merely point out what we lack and deepens the emptiness we feel without our needs being met. Eventually, many people give up, and hope ends up feeding despair.

I've seen the sun rise over 10,000 mornings. Am I CERTAIN that it will tomorrow? There is extensive historical evidence to suport the assertion that it will indeed do so. Enough to convince me that it will and bet the farm on it.
Some things have a very low probability of success, reinforced by anecdotal evidence; so low that one can be pretty certain that failure will be the outcome.

Doesn't really matter what other people think. If it's your situation, you should look at it objectively. Say it was a parent, sibling, or best friend who asked you a question. What would you say to them? What do YOU think the best answer would be and realistically, do you believe it will "work out"? That's all that matters.

I've read some really good advice here, but it only works out if you apply it and work at it. To some this may be too much of an effort.

I am sure you wil find a correlation between poor attitudes and people who spend "could be" useful time attached by the brain to a computer.
another words people on here choose to idle away and continue to let their personalities shrivel as opposed to getting out of the house and donating their time to positive and constructive ways.

Why do you say anything is possible?
Can you fly through the air unaided?--no.
Can you dive two miles beneath the Pacific Ocean?--no.
Can you walk on water?--no
Some things are not possible. Just like some people are meant to stay on their own.
Tough.
