My neighbor upstairs named Michael used to be my friend. That was until he developed a crush on my mom. I don't like him because he drinks, smokes, and is depressing. One night, he called our apartment and said that because my mom didn't like him he was going to commit suicide. I want him out of my life, but he keeps coming over to our home. What do I do?

Girl, I feel for you ..this could lead to a bad situation. You have learned an important lesson here too DO'NT GET INVOLVED WITH A NEIGHBOR !
As a minor there's not much that you can do but ignore him.Please resist the urge to tell him off or anger him. Work on keeping yourself and mom busy and away from this guy... Can you suggest to mom that you no longer feel safe in that apartment maybe she would move if she knew how unsafe you feel. Also if you can remember keep a little log of his calls and threats ... This dude is whack! You and your mom should move, but don't tell this guy, just leave! I'm concerned that he mentioned killing himself...he may take you and your mom with him! If you have an uncle or some other guy in your life, I would ask for a little help. Cant trust people and their threats nowadays, people are crazy....

It is UP TO YOUR MOM to stop him from coming to your home. Apparently you are still a child/teenager so you have no leagal say to him. Tell your mom you are uncomfortable with him hanging around and ask her to get him to stop coming over.

Gurl if I was you I would not worry about ti and just pray to God that if he is ment to be in you and your moom's life that God would keep him there and that he will change.Hope this helps you out.
