I highly appreciate and respect the policies for controlling birthrate. Our country population increases drastically and leads the country towards the diasaster. After more than 50 years of our independence, India has not shown suffice success as one can anticipate. Firstly, India should have one child policy. This policy results in oodles of advantages to our country. One child policy will not only control the population growth but also improve the individual's life quality. Secondly, men and women should be treated equally. All the women should be encouraged to work outside rather than only take care of the house work and children. When our society will see the equality between men and women, then they will not mind whether the child will be a boy or girl. This is the epoch of changing our conservative thinking by applying one child policy as china did in 70's. Today, the world is overwhelmed by chinese incessant progress. The benefits of one child policy cant be overlooked.

We need just an initiation for taking this policy into action.

So! Is the government paying you for your child's upkeep?

Listen all of you who think limiting a family is good! My husband's mother had an opportunity to have 6 children she lost 3 children. One when he was just 6 months old. Another when the doctors mis-diagnosed and caused an artifical abortion and the 3 boy was her pet, whom she lost due to a freak accident when he drowned. Today she has just 3 children. 1 girl and 2 boys of whom one is my husband!

God gives with an open heart. Arent there enough abortions already going on? Scentists have proved that the capacity of the current human beings to have children will decreased from year to year! People in the colder climes cannot conceive, they long to see children. The Govts in Europe are promoting family centered policies. And in these are the very countries who are short on labour so they hire from people intensive countries like India, China. If we follow the same policy like the West did a few years ago, I wonder who will supply us with manpower!

Remember, it takes years for children to grow and make a conscious development for a country (in the time being so many dont make it), but it takes one epidemic, one natural calamity, one terroirst threat to wipe out hundreds and thousands! Today is 2 years since the Tsunami of 2004. Do you know how many died?

with due respect, protect and preserve life, which is a rare commodity today!

its not just about making policies.....its about implementing them also. There are already many policies which are made for different reasons but the system here is not so perfect to monitor those.
