okay i live in the ghetto and people are all about money and looks and being clean! my bff isnt dirty but she doesnt have a lot of money and her clothes could use improvement! people always call her dirty and ugly cuz she has a lot of pimples, and the other day this boy called me dirty and i flipped out because i AM NOT DIRTY! i wear nice clean cute fashionable clothes! will people start callin me dirty if i hang out with her? i love my bff to death but i sont wanna get taunted for something im not!

Well it's Thursday night and I have nothing to do. I've had a fight with 3 different members of my family and have just discovered some girl has been spreading nasty rumours about me at school. I have a mountain of homework that I don't want to do and my 'secret' boyfriend is on the other side of the continent.

So you can probably tell I'm feeling pretty depressed. What can I do before I go to bed to try and feel better?

I am 13 years old and adopted. I was adopted when I was young and have always known I was adopted but thats all my parents told me. Well last week I found a file with everything about my adoption. I found out I was born through an act of prostitution and that my birth mom had had an abortion and miscarage before me. But also three years before I was born she also had a girl. My birth mom was 25 years old when she had me, 100 pounds, blue eyes, and had bleached blond hair. She put me up for adoption through bethany christian services but I dont know what to do now knowing all of this information because I cant tell my parents I know and I feel horrible knowing that my mom was a prostitute but still want to meet her. I could not find her name in any of the reports though. Does anyone have any basic advice on things I can do now having this sort of burden that none of my friendz will be able to relate to?

Ive been dating a girl for 3years now and we're breaking up. She wanted to get married and I wasnt ready. Im very sad because I felt like my time with her shouldnt be over yet... she wants to move on since Im not read.

Can you give me any advice for getting over this breakup? I still love her alot and think about her all the time.

I cant sleep at night and Ive already lost about 15lbs. What should I do to help myself get over this and move on with my life?

Me- I've kept a few things but only the ones that really meant something to me, for example I still have the ring that my first real boyfriend (also my first kiss) gave me when I was 15. I also have a few notes from old friends and boyfriends. I just like to keep things to help me remember. I also have the necklace and earings that I wore to my mother's funeral, havn't worn them since.

I'm 16 year old...i'm having this problem since many days or months.I don't feel well most of the time and I dont know what's wrong with me.I can't talk freely to anyone any longer.I can't just can't share my feelings or my view points with any one although I have loads of friends and my family members are very kind and they are free with me.I dont know why I cant tell my friend the problems I'm facing...I think I'm turning introvert.I'm feeling nervous all the time and don't know why...I am an average student.Last week,I gave a Statistics exam which went on fine for me;but this week when the result came out I was shocked.I got all my formulae correct,my procedures where right and the Table was correct too.But at the last step while adding through calculator,I mixed up the signs and came up with a wrong answer.Thus I failed in the exam..I am feeling very depressed right now and suffering from inferiority complex...What is so wrong with me?HELP(I am not a smoker or alcoholic)

My sister called today and while we were talking she out of the blue said, " I told Jim (her husband) and the kids that we might be going down there for Christmas.." I said "you mean here?" and she said, "Well you know the kids have a really long Christmas break." Excuse me? Did I miss something..like the part where I invite you to my house for Christmas??
She just invited herself without asking if it's okay with me and my husband. She didn't say when or for how long or anything and apparently she and her husband are making plans...????
My husband and are having hard year and wanted to spend time together this year. This has never been an issue before since my husband is in the military and we've been overseas since 1995.
How can I say nicely that I'd rather she visit at a different time and that she ask about that specific time and make sure it's okay for us??? It's so annoying because I feel like I have to be the bad guy.

My husband and I are going away on a cruise to Puerto Rico. I have been looking forward to this for many many years and cannot wait to go. The only problem is my 5 year old daughter. I cannot take a child on a cruise.
My cat agreed to watch the child for us while we are away on our trip and has even offered to drive her to and from school on a daily basis.
The only problem is that i'm not sure if the cat is ready to handle this kind of responsibility. I mean what if something happens at school that needs my attention or what if my cat decides to throw another one of his wild parties with his wild neighborhood cat friends??
I really want to go on my cruise but i'm not sure if I should. Would you go if you were in my shoes?

Is it her curves from having children?

my boyfriend's 10 yr old daughter got in trouble for yelling and screaming at other kids at recess for "cheating" at tetherball. the supervising adults got involved and she continued screaming and yelling at them. this boggles my mind because when i was a kid i'd never dream of disrespecting an adult like that. but, weren't we all beaten or spanked if we ever tried? nowadays, we fear being accused of child abuse if we even spank them. since this is the first time this has happened, we sorta scolded her but didn't actually punish her. if it happens again, what would you do? this is a deep deep problem!
