Yes. Addiction isnt pleasant. Nor is rejection. The computer has provoked both!

I think so, especially when dealing with pornography. It's easy to just sit at home and download the filth because nobody really knows about it. But if we went back to having to go to the stores to buy movies, magazines, etc rather than looking on the computer, then I think that the number of relationships that it ruins will decrease dramatically; mainly because people will be too embarassed to go out and buy/look at these things in public.

The same with cheating. Many people believe that "it's not really cheating if penetration isn't involved!" That's BS. Computers help people who think like this do it easier (cybering, webcams, and so forth).

It technically is the person's fault for the problems, but computers can stir it up.

I think it can but its only if the person lets it do so by doing things that they should not do for example look for people when they are already in a relationship or mess around with people when they are in a relationship. I know that the computer has ruined my relationship with a person I was friends with for years I talked to him on-line for 2-3 yrs and then finally met him well things didn't go so well when we finally met and now I lost a friendship i could still have if we would have never met.

I don't think I really understand the question. I don't think computers ruin people's relationships, people ruin their own relationships...It has nothing to do with their surroundings or what they use (such as computers). Ahhh how easy it would be to blame the world of problems on computers.

It has opened up more ways to meet people, which is tempting and easier and probably you can hide it.. My ex had a problem with that, he would chat and meet people online and that was one of the reasons why our relationship went downhill! but is up to the person, because i also had a change to cheat on him and talk to people, but i chose not to. Don't blame the computer!

yes, it has because it has led to alot of more oppurtunities for people, men and woman to cheat or even look for cheating prospects. The computer has lead to false id's of your mates and lies and deceite. The computer is both a wonderful tool and a dangerous weapopn

Anything that pulls you away from your spouse, and you give it more attention than your spouse is bad for a relationship, the trick is knowing when too much is enough, and all the chatting, and between married people isn't that healthy, it's bad when you share your self, your inner self with someone who isn't your wife or husband
