I do that too. Just think its nice to be able to look back at these things. Always makes me smile.

Yes. I still have a sweater that my ex-boyfriend wore, which I stole from him. I have a jacket that belonged to this guy I was seeing right before I met my husband. And I have pictures of some other boyfriends, and my old journals.
I keep these things to remind me of why I broke up with each of these guys, and why we were together in the first place.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/MFiNQ
Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.
The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.
Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

I have found that if I throw away things from an ex-boyfriend it helps me move on. I have recently split up from a 4 year relationship and have a shoe box full of emails, cards etc. and i want to throw it away but the thought just gets me emotional!

I do. I did not lose the happiness those things bring just b/c I am not with that person anymore. In time, we tend to forget the bad part of a relationship, why not keep the reminders of the good times?

I have of photos of ex girlfriends, maybe one or two of each one.
I'm sure one day when things get all serious i may be forced to burn them.
I don't have a problem if a girl has pics of an ex, it's part of her life, it made her the person she is and i'm not insecure enough to worry about it especially if they are ten years old.

I keep pretty much everything from my past relationships. They are good memories that I want to always be with me. I have diamond rings, diamond necklaces, bracelets, pictures, love notes, drawings, poems, dead flowers, clothes, movies, cd's, plane tickets... the list goes on and on.

I use to keep everything from past relationships, but as time went one I realized I didn't need most of the stuff and getting rid of it actually helped me move on from those relationships.
