I know that he is getting me some form of really nice jewelery for x-mas (his sister slipped). I don't know what I should get for him. I don't have a lot of money to spend and I want him to know that even though I don't have a lot of money, I really care and put in a lot of thought.

First rule - never give men expensive gifts until he is very serious about you (engaged). Just get him something he likes, CD, and something yummy to eat and yourself with a big red bow. I seen it happen many times - a girl "hears" he is getting her something really nice so she goes out and breaks the bank on him and when the guy ends up getting her something small because he changed his mind or couldnt afford it, the girl feels like a real idiot, and the guy feels the same. Dont go there. Remember it IS the thought that counts.

maybe a small basket filled with things he likes fav candy cd by his fav artist,a framed pic of the two of you, maybe a scented candle or bubble bath, anything romantic, sentimental ect it doesnt have to cost much and it says alot

well just think about what he likes and if u cant then just get him something from the heart and make sure u mean it because that meaning can last forever and material things just decay and get old after a while.
