My dad is in the progress of getting divorced. He is living basically alone in Tucson... This has led to him settling for numerous horrible women. There is one in particular who is ruining his life. She keeps on yelling at him for no reason, drinking till drunk, and not showing up for prearranged plans. My dad and her have been on the rocks for a while now but for some reason he keeps on going back to this woman. I have to give her credit -she can be really nice sometimes-- but on the whole she is terrible. How can I convince my dad that he doesn't have to settle for a woman like this... He has gotten an eharmony account... but still goes back to this evil devilwoman... please help!! I just want him happy

I don't know...like sometimes I think "WHy would you hit on me?" Today for instance, I had a men approach me and try to take me out...and then I thought "DO I look easy or something?" I honeslty don't think I do becuase I dress very regular and I actually tend to not care about my looks so much. In fact, my sister dresses more revealing than me and still! Like men look at me and I find that troublesome. I just do not want to give off the wrong vibe.

became really good friends w/ this guy and we started to act like were something else even if we werent.we even say i love yous but not that kind of way like bfs&gfs would.ppol were starting 2 notice our behavior & asking if wer more than friends & we wud say no bcoz thats the truth.in oder 2 stop d askng,i started ignong his msgs & wud always say dat m busy.i guess that did the trick bcoz the whole thing stopped.even our friendship...
now,i wanted thngs to b back like it used to...i tried talking to him everytime we meet but he wud just stare at me& give me a single reply. he also told me once that he wanted to b friends w/ me again...& now im making an effort 2 regain dat friendship.
i'm confused.i am startng to think dat we cant have dat frnship again bcoz somthing did came up btwn us although we just wudn't admit it...

Anyone else feel the same? This goes for both intimate and friendly relations.

Being monitered, audited, bossed around, annoyingly critiqued, constantly adviced and/or rushed and prodded and poked at drives me up the wall and drains my energy. I don't do these things either. How 'bout you guys? Lets here it! :-)

my son lost his grandfather (dad's side) in april he just came home from spending half of the summer with his dad and grandma and at bed time just started bawling about wanting his grandpa back. i asked if this has been going on for a while and he said no, i asked why he didn't do this over there and he said because of the ern. nothing i say seems to calm him down and god knows they aren't going to hand over the ern. i'm trying to come up with pictures but it's not on his dads priority list at 12am but i can't get him to calm down...currently i've told him take a bath this seems to calm me down but he hasn't done it yet. i want to comfort him but at this moment it doesn't seem to matter what i say... any ideas would be great. i've already told at least in heaven he's not suffering and the come back was why can't god send him back without suffering... i'm lost here

Recently my SO said the following: "I could have anyone I want, but I choose to be with you."

When I asked for clarification re: the comment he said, "Well it's true. I'm a nice guy."

He then went on to say it was meant as a compliment and that I should not take it as anything else. That what he was acutally saying was that he loves me, and wants to be with only me and no one else.

He also says that I should take meaning from the "intent" of his words, not the actual words; and that since I do not, that is why I "misinterpret" what he says.

I am offended, think the comment is egotistical, and that it infers I am "lucky" to have him.

I also think that his words should match his emotions, and I should not be expected to take meaning from "intentions" - that this is unrealistic.
Opinions??????

We are only together for the children and theres hardly no love between us anymore. Do you think I made the right choice?

I mean some of my friends are black and they were saying Beyonce and Tyra Banks are light skinned. ...
They don't look light-skinned. They're just a lighter shade of dark.
But I want to know what the majority thinks? When you think dark skin, how dark do you think?

So... You got off work hours early and picked up flowers for your wife then drove strait home. When you slip in the back door to surprise your wife you hear moans coming from your room. As you peer into the room you see the unthinkable.

My fiance is Catholic. My daughter is 11 and her and I both have gone and have embraced a protestant religion. I converted to Catholic and I am happy with it, but he wants to force my daughter to become Catholic or attend a Catholic church only. I suggested she go to both (as we have been doing recently) and he insists when we get married, it's to be a Catholic only house. She loves her protestant church and is happy there and DOES NOT want to be Catholic or attend only a Catholic church. I told him taking her away from her church will only make her rebel, but he feels we are the parents and she is the child and we have to make the decisions for her right now, even those she doesn't like. (he wants to adopt her, he not baby daddy, lol) How can I get him to compromise? Am I wrong? Or is he wrong? What is the solution?

Does it bother you that their room is right next to yours or just below? My kids are starting to ask questions and it's really ruining the bedroom activity. What do you do when you don't want to have to hide in the garage to get freaky?

Can a person really separate love from Sex. (prostitutes wannabe, please do not answer)
can 2 person, whether they are married, or not, to be able to hold sex and love in different spectrum in their hearts within Singapore (ignored the hollywood movies spectrum of life) that whether they are colleagues, friend, or etc to be able to understand that they are all human whom from time to time may want to satisfy their bodily needs and there should be no sense of guilt. (which i meant is about not more than necessary as in life it is impossible to have a 100% guilt free due to the kinds of society up bringing) Can 2 person, perhaps in the course of their life really out of fun, or needs for a particular love, in any circumstances, have just one or 2 free flink of life without responsibilities, care or even the need to feel guilty for each other as it is the needs of both, the willing parties to enjoy just their both bodily needs & then continue with their life
