If you wish or envision something it gets jinxed? I have found that whenever I say a wish or desire the opposite almost invariably happens.

So now I say the opposite of what I want...and it works better. Any ideas on this or am I crazy?

Just courious to see how many twins are out here. I am a twin. I have a twin sister. And also how many twins do you have in your family. We have 3 set, 1-set of girls 1-set of boys 1-set of girl/boy.

There's 5 children in my family
Me, the oldest lives in a nice neighborhood right by the beach in SC ( I'm 32)
Brian 28, lives in NYC where we grew up
Alicia lives 2 doors down 21 a hair dresser
Trish, lives with Alicia until she finishes High School, then she hopes to move to NYC again
Adrianna, 14, my crazy little sister that normaly lives with me, in my mom's old house but if it gets too crowded she spends the night at Alicia's.


When Adri's around we still act like we did when were sisters. Is this natural?

My mom died in May in a car crach and my dad died a couple of years ago.

and all of my doctors have given me between 1 to 3 years to live.Of course they all try to give me encouragement and tell me about this miracle and that miracle...I have gone through the period of disbelief and anger....but I no longer resent my destiny. I think that's how it should be. I am ready, as I have been for the past 2 years (I really did take life for granted in those years).I don't even think I am to live that long. My heart tells me a few months is all.I have not told my family. I don't have the courage to. I love my son so much.I can't think of leaving him and often think of what he would do without me being there for him.I don't know if it's better to let them know. What would you do? And thanks in advance for answering.

I've been with my husband 8 years married for 4 years.We have custody of my stepdaughter and yet her mother wants child support for the one month that she gets her a year,now the problem is that she hasen't done anything to help us in the past year and we haven't taken her for child support, should we?

He has a history of being rude especially when he's had far too much to drink. He's embarrassed me number of times and not to mention all the rude behavior he has caused around my sister in particular. She has tried to get along with him in the past but just recently over memorial weekend we went to a friends house which he didn't know, everything was going fine or at least thats what I thought. As it turned out he had one too many beers and made a complete fool of all of us including himself. A few yrs ago my sister was celebrating her birthday and had invited us to go celebrate, but according to him we had made plans to do something. I really wanted to go, but since he had nothing to wear, his excuse was that we had plan and thats total bull. That is not the worst part, he was forming scandals about it right in my house right in front of my sister. This was yrs ago and til this day he doesn't think he needs to apologize.

okay last night i was trying to go to sleep when i get woke up by this loud noise. it was my bf running to the door. come to find out his friend from next door invited these two girls over and they brought some cocaine. my bf doesnt do that and i dont like it in my house b/c i have 3 children whom i really dont want taken away from me. the one girl was some one that i dont like. shes always coming over with diffrent guys and yet she still hangs all over who ever else is at my house.... guy or girl including my bf!. ne ways i just wanted to know if i was wrong to get mad at my bf for one b/c this girl is a whore and hes up parting by himself with her. i mean i trust him but if hes going to see any **** and as* its going to be on the tv or me. and more than once ive cought her tring to grab him where only i should be grabbing. yes ive snapped at her but my bf says i dont have to worry b/c he loves me and doesnt have any interest in her. i still feel i did notihng wrong....

I love my fiancé to death. However there’s a challenge I’m trying to deal with. That is, if I do or say something that concerns her she will assume things to be much worse then they really are. She will also think what I did that concerned her to be something that I will always do for now on. For example if I miss her phone call she will think I never answer her calls. Or one time I spent time with my guy friends one night, and she thought I am deciding to see her less and not see her on her anniversary. I definitely wasn’t thinking that. She is not being controlling; she is simply assuming things to be bad or worse then they really are (she jumps to conclusions.) This gets aggravating. As a trait of this, she takes things very personally; as a result, I have to watch what I say. What could I do about this? I would greatly appreciate any help or info. Thank you!

We went out for 5 yrs..I'm having the healing process on my own and everything is great. I keep telling myself..he's not the old guy I loved. When everything seems alright, I logged in friendster today and found him joined friendster, he used to say he wouldn't use it 'cause that's stupid...and now he joined the same ring which I've joined and put up lots of pictures of his new girlfriend...he wrote her lots of testis...almost 1 testi a day...saying he loves only her and it's the greatest moment in his life to know her and nothing can be compared with her...my heart thumped heavily..but I managed not to cry...just few weeks before I still asked myself if we'd have chance to get back and now I'm sure it's hell no...I won't go back to the guy who say I'm a 'nothing' and make his new girl the Queen..I dun want to be a doormat..

Ok. Im a 22 year old female. I was "talking" too this guy last year for about 6 months, but we were kind of friends before. Anyways. he got back with his exgirlfriend, they lived together, but not anymore. His girlfriend is in FL for 2 weeks, but he called me a few times last night to hang out.
Would I be too Forward if I was to Text him and say come out for a few drinks with me tonight?
