men and women are built completely differently. physically and mentally and emotionally. men deal with things and get over it where as women sit and think about thigns and get all emotional and want to talk it through. men usually dont feel that need. thats why fights betweenc ouples get soo diffiuclt. the different way we deal with thigns and emotions.

Not sure. Guys should talk about their feelings with their significant other. It is important to have a good communication pathway for healthy relationships. I don't mind expressing my feelings if necessary.

But generally, the social stigma is that guys should not, which is a shame. For example, "guys should not cry because it is not manly" is a clear example of why society frowns about men expressing their feelings. Personally, I feel it is counterproductive and can lead to anger and other issues.

I am not trying to be sexist at all in anyway. But, what I was told is that guys don't want to lose their 'man power'. Some guys seem to think that if they express their emotion in any way, that they are considered a wimp or something. It's mainly what society says. It is annoying, but that's all that I can think of.

I guess the guys you have been around don't talk about their feelings. My fiance does talk about his, all the time, and I love it! He is the first one I have ever found that would do that, tho. So, not all men hide their feelings or don't talk about them. There are some that will. I think it all depends on how they are raised, their personalities, and their self-esteem/self-worth. Most guys don't talk about their feelings due to how they are raised (boys don't talk about their feelings or cry or they are not men, etc). They won't talk about them because they get embarrassed to do so, or they don't have good self-esteem/self-worth, or they have the personalities that doesn't 'allow' them to do so. Women are also taught to talk about their feelings and be emotional abut things. Most men aren't.

i strongly believe it was the way a man was brought up ....fathers were to be tough...and taught to not show emotion for it would make them less than a man....hence alot of men dont show emotions.....

then u have some that were taught that its okay to show emotions...and be no less a man...

just depends on how they were brought up...and then left to us ...the woman..to decide which do we want..lmao ...the strong silent type...or the strong..secure with himself...lets all his feelings out kinda guy...lol

Because they are guys. It just something that guys don't do. Take the counter question-why don't women want to have sex all the time? See, works both ways....
