ok, so your friend can not stop talking bout how she can pimp this dude and that dude without giving up the goods but you know that something has to take place mind she is not pass a 5 on a 10 scale...how do you tell her to shut up and get real, golddiggers are not attractive? And what do you do when your guy friends laugh at her photo, wondering what the hell them dudes be thinking about giving her money?

tomorrow is my 16th birthday and it means a lot to me.........coz its SWEET SIXTEEN !!!!!!!!!!
i know nobody is going to give me a surprise birthday party ( i mean it ) . I don't want to throw a party myself. I don't want to be with my frnds ( as if i have any TRUE frnds ), xcept my bestest frnd ( who is TRULY a frnd ).

Ok, so i didn't plan on getting my friends any presents (b/c im a typical guy) but my best friend told me that 3 of my closest (girl) friends that got me a sweet gift that they pooled their money together and got me. So now i feel obligated to get them something otherwise i'de feel like an asshole. I know what im gonna get one of them already, but for the other 2 i have no idea. My friend said i should get them Victoria Secret PJ's w/ matching slippers. Or would a gift certificate to there or bed bath & beyond be good or just lame as if i didnt try? If it's stupid or you have a better gift let me know please!!! Thanks!

OK well i think im over protective because one of my friends calie started dating one of my friends dylan last week. And my other friend Bailey started dating one of my other friends Corben. Now i used to like both of these girls. I have been thinking that im overprotective because they think im the reason the guys broke up with them. I just dont want the girls to get hurt. I am in-love with one of my guy friends.
We've been friends for 6 years, and I have liked him for all those years.
But lately, I got tired of hoping and decided to get over him.
Then I thought...I'm stupid 'cause I was hoping for nothing.
For those 6 years I never told him I loved him, and now I think I should tell him.
I wasn't being fair to myself expecting him to know how I feel without telling him.
But at the same time I'm scared....scared of being rejected by the guy who I loved for 6 years...
Will telling him be good for me?

I've known her a little over a year. My first impression of her when I met her was well good. She seemed nice even though she wore very black makeup. Some people thought she was gothic or emo any of that sick stuff but I wasn't going to judge her because she was very nice to me.

Anyhow, that was a year ago. She recently started hanging out with my friends and they've becaome best friends now. As I hung out with her more I noticed she always said things like she hated life and wished she wasn't born (she was adopted) and that she hated her parents and things like that...

I thought it was just typical teen stuff (she's almost fourteen, she failed a grade) so I didn't say anything about it. That is until I saw her myspace background. To say the least is was disturbing and very violent and that wasn't the first time I saw something like that from her. My mom thinks she's disturbed and thinks I should stop hanging out with her...what should I do?

Ok, I have a friend and He isnt flamboyant and hes never had a boyfriend. What makes a guy gay? I mean im starting to think maybe hes just confused. I asked him if he thinks of men in a sexual way and he said no. I asked the same question about women and he said yes. But He goes to gay bars and has alot of gay friends. and he says hes gay but we were at a bar the other night and i watched him check out a girl. Also when hes drunk he tends to be more lovey towards women. So is he gay or just confused?

I normally roll my eyes at people taking things like this seriously.

but one of my oldest friends has started selectively deleting all of my facebook posts off of her wall. No one else's, as far as I can tell. She replies normally on my wall, and as far as I know she's not mad at me. So... it's a weird thing to do. And out of character for her.

Thoughts? Should I ask her about it? I'd feel stupid even admitting I noticed, let alone confronting her about it.

I have 4 mates who I use to hang around with alot. Things have changed abit it seems... one of them dosent reply back to my texts very often or answers my calls. Also dosent seem keen to meet up because im always trying to arrange something and there seems little interest, my other friend appears to get the same response also!

it seems like when it tell my mom about friend issues and feeling left out. she just doesnt get it . shes lik "its ok to have no friends" and "u dont have to have a group of friends to have fun" but thats not true in todays middle school and high schools.

And I mean REALISTICALLY when it has happened to you? I do the shuffle towards the till with the eye contact that says "You dare". Some people do the polite "Notice I was here first cough" and get ignored. What do you do...

My school is terrible . the kids who attend my school are like freakin' alcoholics and ditch class constantly and thats not ME.Like i had to go to my this school i didnt really have a choice i got into a really diffiuclt program so my classes are all real tough im taking college classes and yes i pay for them.But its like im beginning to have NOBODY all of my friends have turned out on me and became people who never go to class and people who ditch school . and people who drink alochol and smoke pot together afterschool
i cant do that i dont want my life to be that way...should i transfer and try to get away from all of this bullshiit?

Plus im not in elementary school..

A friend of mine is constantly complaining about her life. Everyone else is to blame for her plight. If she doesn't have a job, it's because there aren't any, if she's broke, everyone else is supposed to chip in to pay for what she needs. It is always Woe is Me. She always plays the victim. I know jobs are hard to come by, but in her case, there are offers but she thinks they are beneath her. What advice would you give her ?
