-helped me review for/the science final
-hooked me up w/his friend (only b/c i asked him too)
-invited to go see a school advisor, pertaining to my major.
cons-
-i'm the designated driver most of the time, he mentioned to one of his friends over the phone that i was the designated driver.
-wants free tickets to the movies cuz i work there
-leaves annoying messages, curses n **** but that's just his personality.
-calls me constantly...good grief

Yeah...friend worthy...designated driver probably because you are the least likley to want to drink to excess, free tickets...most friends would take that advantage...other stuff he did for you is something he went out of his way for so I would say he is friendworthy.

Not enough info to say that you are being used. It sounds from this that you wrote like a normal friendship. YOu have to be the answer to this question. IF you feel like the friendship is only one sided and you are always the giver and he is alwasys the taker, than you may be getting used. But only you can decide that

If you think this person doesn't enjoy being with you, and is only hanging around for what you can do for him, then I'd say yes.
It is possible that this person doesn't know how you feel about his 'cons'. Have you tried discussing this with him?

No, you are not being used any more than you are using him. It is called a relationship. . . you know the kind with give and take. If you feel that he is taking more than giving, say no when he asks for something. Ten to one this guy has the hots for you.

he sounds like a litte **** head punk and quit rude to ask for free tickets and haveing you be the dd all the time tell him no see how he acts

I don't think he is using you because most users only call when they want something and they don't help you out at all and you say he helped you study and other things, so I think he is an OK friend

yes, if you are thinking that you are being used and summing up the situation then yes you are being used, my advice don't do anything you don't want to , you have a mind, if you don't want to be sober driver, say so, if you can't always get tickets make up a excuse about your boss saying can't do it anymore or limits the amount, etc

I guess so. But just one time he does this again like blow up and yell at him like this: you: WHY ARE YOU USING ME??? GO GET A REAL FRIEND! unless like you are the kind of person who would never do that. Or else ask one of his other friends you can trust about it. Happy Holidays!

No, I wouldn't say so. Be the same way toward him. Cureseing isn't using some one, it's having in his werid way fun. Maybe he has a drinking problem it sounds like. That's probably his personality, Maybe he like LIKES you, you know, like he loves you maybe he's gay.
