So you are at a difficult and challenging school with college classes but the people there are druggies and alcoholics?

That sucks, tell your parents. But if you can't transfer (and I wouldn't transfer to a less challenging school just because the kids there suck) watch the movie Election. It's hilarious and totally reminds me of your situation.

But get over the kids, do your best and you'll be outta there soon enough. The real world is just like your school, so might as well get use to it.

Good Luck!

Don't worry about everything so much. i went to a bad school to. i didn't have much friends, so i just concentrated on my grades. if you decides to leave your going to make things longer. just avoid the drugs and the alcohol you'll be fine. As for friends you'll always meet new people when you attend a new school or college.

I would either stick it out and find friends elsewhere (like through volunteering somewhere), or transfer.
