we talked about everthing, and I mean everything. But for the past few months things have went from talking about everything to, I can not talk about it or she just avoids converstion. This all started when she broke up with her boyfriend and moved out of state. When she moved I found out that I was getting blamed for everything she did and how she did it. Mainly because a few months before she moved away I had left my husband, so It was made ( by everyone else) like I influenced her. It was also said that I knew about her plans and told her boyfriend about them. I NEVER did such a thing, I spoke with her and she did not believe me!! I later found out who did tell her ex-boyfriend her plans, but I never told her who it was. Should I tell her or should I just leave things the way they are and move on?

I have been studying for 2 years and have a friend on the same course who has been very supportive. I totally forgot her telling me that her Mum was in hospital - I still have no recollection of it - but said I was really sorry and that cos I have been so busy recently, my brain has been like mush. She replied that no-one else had forgotten.

This made me feel real bad so I emailed her another apology and she replied that it was ok she didn't expect me to remember, she had supported me but when she needed support, she had found others to help.

I am not sure what to do now cos although I was a bad friend for forgetting her mother, I stood up for her when she fell out with someone else and have always kept in touch with her and helped her out when I could.

I am the sort of person who will help anyone out and have looked after peoples kids and pets when they needed it.... so what now?

Last school year I had these close friends and then my least favorite person started sitting with us and started takeing over my friends. I got frustrated and left. over that summer all i would hear about is them hanging out with her. I got left behind and only hung out with them a few times. when the next school year rolled around i hoped that i could patch things up and win them back, but they were all in the same classes with her and i had NO CLASSES what so evere with them at all. i had to make new friends which im not on good enough terms with to hang out. when i went to one of my old friends bday parties last week I felt out of place and like i didnt know any of them anymore. Molly the one i hate was also there. I feel like i have no friends to hang out with this summer. The friends ive made this year are in a differnt clique and i feel as if the old friends are childish now kinda. idk what to do i dont want a boring summer

I'm totally at lost on what to do now, I hope you guys could share some views on this issue.

So I have several subject that I only need to pick one. I decided to choose one earlier on and my best friend wanted to took that subject too just because I was there, so we both would had a partner. Now I realize that the subject wasn't the best choice for me. But my friend couldn't take the other choice I now wants to take, due to his course requirement.

So I now I'm kind of in a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" situation. If I carry on, I felt I might fails this subj. But if I change now, I'd be breaking a promise I made to my best friend, leaving him alone in that subject now, I don't know how he's gonna take it.

If you were in this situation, what would you do? Thanks for your views =)

If you live alone and you are an immigrant to USA and you just know how to speak basic English, how can you make some friends :) where to start? My job is from home too.

Thanks!

Hi All...
I'm sending out an invitation to our daughters' birthday party to a same sex couple and their son. I am friends with mom A, only met mom B briefly, and have spent quite a bit of time with their son and wish to include the whole family. Moms have different last names and the son has mom A's last name. Thanks for the input!

when you go into my friends room everything is neat and tidy...except her bedside table. It is full of things she has "borrowed" from her friends and the people she cares most about. There are pictures, toys, figurines and other, for lack of a better word, stuff. she took one of the canisters from my kitchen, my sons favorite toy when he was younger, her sons favorite little toy when he was boy in fact he thinks he lost it when he moved from the college dorm into an appartment, her grandmas wedding cake topper and various other things. If something bumps into her table and something of someones falls off she swears they will be hurt. I call this a shrine and she says it isnt...othen then she is alittle odd, would you call this a shrine too?

This is what happens....

I met my best friend Karen a year ago, everything was going great, I had a best friend and all my life was under contro.

But in the past months I discover that I had fallen in love with her so now I'm so confused ecause i feel that she likes me too because she hugs me alot and I feel like a romantic mood instead of a friendly mood.

What Should I do?

At the beginning of this year, i made a friend (Ashley) at my school, in which we became the best of friends. Little did I know that we were very similar to each other, and we wondered why we didn't become friends last year. So, softball season started, and I was thinking of joining it as to learn it while I was still a freshman at the school. I didn't want to do it alone, so i convinced Ashley to join it with me, and she said yes. I was excited when season started, but during the season, i noticed, Ashley started avoiding me gradually. For example, when i asked if she wanted to pitch with me, she replied with an angry "no". I figured it was because of the "cool" kids who were in our team. She seemed to want to ignore me whenever I called her name, but when we were distant from the other players, she started being herself again. When season ended, she started not hanging out with me anymore during lunch, or just talking to in general. It seems to me that she's embarassed 2 be my friend

This girl is sad because she is being forced to wed a guy she doesn't even know. She's nice and lives with her parents, and is afraid to speak out against them. She had repeatedly said no to the engagement and will continue to do so, but is sadden by the fact that her parents is nagging her about why she wont marry the guy. Of course her parents is doing this for money purposes since the are not americans and have a different cultural tradition. Wouldn't you say this is wrong but she has no other option but to move out ans she knows this. She will not move out because she has no job and loves her parents too much, but she had said she will continue refusing the engagement. I know deep inside she just wants to leave and go elsewhere but she's too weak to even try. so what can I do to cheer her up? I think she is really sad and depressed.

Recently we were invited to a friend's house. Their backyard pool is very private, but we were a little surprised when their kids (teens - two girls and a boy) simply peeled off their clothes and swam nude. They were obviously raised this way and thought nothing of it, but their parents didn't seem at all concerned that guests (us) were present. We didn't say a thing -- should we have? If so, what?
