3 yrs ago I met a person online. We have since become good friends. We share life stories and secrets and exchange funny emails. I am a married female and this person said they were a single male. We knew we would never meet so the subject of romance was never an issue. We just never talked about it.
Recently, this person has confessed they are really a lesbian female and they have always had romantic feelings for me but never said so before for fear of scaring me away.
I am now confused. I understood we were just friends in any case but now things have changed. This person is always wanting to call me and bugging me to go visit them (in another state). I am not going to see them and that makes them even more obsessive.
What should i do? Am I over reacting?

Okay, so im a 25 year old guy and am 6 foot tall and weigh 195lbs. I went out for a drink with friends when one of my girl buddies (21 years old and i don't know around 5 foot 3 and maybe 120lbs) just came over to me and scooped me up like you know those cradle style lifts?

My guy friends were there too and were shocked, as was I. She managed to carry me from one pub to the next which was like 70-80 yards. She even managed to jostle me up and down as we went along. This was embarrassing to say the least.

Its made me question something i was too ignorant to even comprehend before...........just how strong girls are getting.

My ego was deflated abit i can tell you.I hadt to carry her after in a bid,i guess to get back some ego haha

So ladies,girls.......have you any stories to tell where you have done anything similar and shocked a guy friend with your strength. What was it?

Ok so there is this guy that sort of likes me but these other girls like him. He just broke up with his girlfriend and he is the most popular guy at school. These other 3 girls like him, and his girlfriend still likes him. The 3 girls are all friends and they think he is completely in love with them. So on Friday my friend and I called him and asked if he liked those 3 girls. He said he didn't like any of them and thought they were all ugly. So if he likes me all of those 3 girls (1 of them is my friend) will hate me. What should I do? Please no rude comments.

He is very smart, and really likes video games, and also just technology in general. I wanted to give him something like a toy, nothing serious. Plus, I don't have much money. He also watches anime, but does not read manga. I don't know what to give him, his birthday is next month.

I think she's not being fair...the song Pride (in the name of love) has a tribute for MLK...I mean if the band didn't like african americans I don't think they would sing/write about it...we've been friends for 3 yrs now, I love her so much but she really hurts my feeling calling me a racist...this morning she said, she's not the white girl's friend anymore...refering to me, I started to cry and she smiled,I don't know what to do we live together, we even have the same classes...I'm starting to think she's doing this because she has a crush in Sean the guy I'm dating, Sean is an african american and she's always making NOT funny jokes about us..... what do I do? :/

a friend of mine,i think hes odd.he will only date girls with 'nice,cute' names.like dawn,jessica,lily,may etc abit.but wont/does not like girls with the names mary,helen,faith,wendy etc abit.
is it just my friend or are there other people who are picky about what a person is called before they date them?i mean..a girl called wendy could be really nice and a girl called dawn could be really horrible and nasty.i just dont get it really.but then again..i guess its like some people only dating rich people or people with nice clothes even if they turn out to be mean.

He is aware that I am aware of what's happening. I have tried, endlessly, to tell him what he is risking but he stubbornly ignores me and tries to convince me that the other woman is just a friend and the relationship is nothing more, although they are planning a secret 4-night hotel stay while he is away handling business and personal matters. Now, I am feeling awkward around the wife and I don't know how to handle it. Do I break the friendship? Do I tell the wife? On top of it, I have to work with my friend on a daily basis, which I am trying to change. I love this guy like a brother but I am torn as to what to do and don't understand why I have so many emotions about this. This fling of his was discovered by his wife a few months ago and it nearly destroyed his marriage then as well as our friendship as I ended up in the middle of it but he convinced everyone that they misread the situation and he would discontinue the relationship with the other woman. Do you guys ever have that unsettling feeling of remorse and regret that follow you around for the rest of your life? There are some things I have learned to let roll of my shoulder, but some things in life I have done I just can't seem to let go of. Recently, I wrote my mother a letter apologizing for something I said to her like, 10 years ago! I feel better having written it, but what am I doing to myself? Have I started my own 12 step program? Is it possible to erase the big mistakes I've made in life? Can I counteract bad decisions with apologies and righting wrongs with new, fresh choices?

Why are guys two faced? I mean, I've seen specific friends of mine talk so much crap on "friends" of theirs, and then it's like, the second they see them they're all, "Oh hey Matt, what's up man? You coming out with us later?" Like they're the best of friends or something! They often times seem worse than girls in this aspect, in my opinion. Not only two faced, but gossipers! So bad that it would give my grandma a run for her money. I guess I was naiive in thinking that guys weren't like this to begin with, but THIS bad?! It makes me think, "Well if they're talking crap on people who aren't in the room, what do they say about ME when I'm not around?"

For example, I have noticed that people who choose the scuba headgear (scuba heads) always seem to have bland one-sentence answers, while guys with the 'wink' (winkies) often write sarcastic answers. Has anyone else made any similiar observations about scuba heads, winkies or any other category of avatars?
