Coming from a girl and having experience with these sort of situations I can tell you it will definitely affect your friendship. There is a 5% chance out of 100% that it wont. Although, it's hard to just be friends with someone you really like so if I were you I would go for it. I'm not trying to like bring down your hopes or anything by telling your friendship will be affected, i'm just being honest. I would say find out more.. like does she like anyone? Does she flirt with another guy? Does she flirt with you? If you think there is a pretty good chance then i'd say go for it. :)

EDIT: Usually a good relationships starts out as being friends. ♥

I'm a girl and I know what's going on.
If you really like this girl, you should confront your feelings for her, if she doesn't like you like that, it won't ruin the friendship, y'all can still be good friends, that is not gonna get in the way of y'all two being friends. And that's really good, you waited until y'all were best friends, and you took time to see if she's the one. Now you can tell if y'all can be more than friends. But, I think she'll accept it.

I hoped I helped

Good Luck!

first of all
everyone knows that as soon as you start
going out with your bestfriend
all chances of being bestfriends again are lost
unless you guys are tight
like really close prior to the going out
if so then it will totally work out
but in yer sucky situation(you havent talked in a coupleweeks)
you would have to work really hard at the relationship...
but i say go for it
dont ever hold back jus cause you think yer gonna fail
cause i mena you could toally die tommorow.
i know right??
so yeah tell her, good luck=)

Just come out and tell her..im going through the same thing right now and i would like more than anything for him to tell me how he feels...you just need to sit down and talk to her and tell her if it doesnt work out that you guys will still be friends no matter what...you dont want to end up broken hearted with no friend...Good luck...

tell her the truth and see what she wants to do. if she closes you out tell her(and yourself) you are happy you at least told her the truth and was true to yourself. tell her you really like her and she would be breaking your heart if she rejected you. if she still say no, then ask her if you can just be friends.

Maybe that is a sign to tell here, maybe she feels a bit neglected and wants that attention and is not getting it

tell her how u feel!!!!!!!the worst thing that could happen is she might not feel the same way yeah that would be a bit awkward but if she does it would be worth the chance
