I am the type of person who loves to go out and have fun however all my friends seem to be broke what is the best way to meet new friends?

Well prom finishes at midnight, but we won't want to go home
Party at someones house is out of the question as eveyones parents/bro/sis has school or work next day.
Tried contacting bowling alley etc but by the time we will get there is 1am, and they close early on a Monday
So, any ideas?

my 6 year old spent the night with one of my friends. He came home Sat. morning and went right to bed and never talked to us. Monday morning I found out that there was a party at her house while he was there and there was a huge fight she doesn't know if one of the other adults punched him on accident or what but he ended up with a loose tooth and a fat lip. Why didn't he say something to me. I am really upset and mad at my friend, but i need to know what happened to him...

I'm 29. I sorta feel isolated and like I don't have a lot of close friends. Maybe 2 that I would consider close, tops. I have many people who are acquaintances, but so few close friends to watch baseball with, or grab a beer on a Sat night. If I go back in life, I have had many others that I've been close with and lost track of. Is this normal for guys? I sometimes wonder if females are more naturally social and keep in touch with friends.

if you fancy a boy and ur shy of each other and dont talk to each other much and the guy knows u fancy him how do you know if he fancies you back coz im really afraid to ask him out and all my mates keep on telling me to move on and some of his mates even embarrass me in front of him. once when his mate came up to me in front of him he said you and him are never meant to be i dunno wether he heard it or not but i looked at him smiling and he smiled back but he looked a bit embarrssed coz he was turning a bit red. all my friend tell me to move on apparaantly mny friend asked him if he fancied me and he said no not really and apparantly my mate said he going to ask a girl out but she lies to evryone that girl. and when he came round my house coz my dad invited him and his parents over i couldnt talk to him at all and he didnt talk to me but he did smile at me and he also said bye thatz. but i dunno what to do i dont make first moves thats the problem do u think he likes/fancies me?

has liked me for a long time, and i know it. he tells like evryone. and i have really never liked him anymore than i friend. a really good friend. well, lately he has been acting like he is going to comit suicide. like he keeps saying how great death will be and everything. plus, he keeps saying to people the thing about how i dont like him. so i talked to my mom about it and she told me just to tell him i like him back, just so he wont do it. but now he thinks i like him and i dont at all. not even in a million years. when i go to the same school as him next year, i just know that if this is still going on he will freak out when i get a boyfriend. and it will hurt him even more. how am i supposed to tell him i dont like him but not hurt him so bad that he kills himself?

I have talked about this to my friend today but her response was rather defensive...

She is a single mother of two, doesn't work. She's good at saving money but what she does with it is what's worrying me. She shops... there's nothing wrong with shopping, the problem is that she shops to replace something she recently bought... for example she's wall papered her bedroom last month and is already thinking of changing it. Would this be considered normal behaviour?

K my ex fiance and I still talk, through texting and through myspace on occasion, I go to her profile sometimes and I'll leave a comment, and sometimes i'll even changed the stuff on my page along with her's. She say's i'm stalking her, and so do her friends. she texted me today and said that her and her friends were worried that i'm going to do somthing to her, because i changed my myspace profile around. and I went to the local goth bar the same night she had plans to go. Needless to say the argument got pretty heated... why the hell does she care so much? she's got a new boy toy, i havent seen her in a month... what the hell is her problem?

i love to give my friends (close and not-so-close ones) things they have been really wishing for. i just find that their faces when they receive the gifts are priceless. and worth my money.

is this normal? it's just that i see people around me don't give gifts much. and my bro said it's a waste of money. but i find myself happy when my friends are happy. sometimes i'm left broke buying gifts (i have a lot of friends). should i stop?

and found out later, after the fact that she had lied about her birth control use. While I am pro choice and feel as though abortion should continue to be a legal option for all women everywhere, i am not a supporter of abortion used as birth control. I would have still gone with her to help her with the before and after even if she had told me she had not used birth control. I am however very upset that she lied to me about using birth control, and even more so because now she has said that her boyfriend does not like condoms and neither does she. Should I tell her that I am angry with her for lying to me and that I feel, pro choice or not, that sex is a responsibility and she is horribly shirking her duty as a woman by NOT taking care of her health and safety they way she should, or should i keep my mouth shut and let it go?

Really not interested in the abortion = murder rhetoric so many of you like to spout off about. This question is not about abortion opinions.

Have you lost any friends since you got married / settled down etc?

I had loads of friends when I was single, but since I got a girlfriend and eventually a wife we parted ways. Its no biggie but I do kinda miss a few beers etc with the lads.

I'm only 26, is it normal to lose friends when you settle down? The only friend I have now is my wife, I have work mates but we're not that close, its strictly business.

I have a friend, her name is Lauren and she can so every thing I can do, but better. And just to make this clear, I am honestly not jealous of her. She was recently in play. Our school play. She was Sandy in Grease. And the guy she likes is brothers with the guy I like and I think the guy I like likes her! I dont know what to do! Suggestions? Also everyone compares me to her! I wasn't going to the school when the auditions went on, so I got stuck with backstage. And backstage is important right? Not to her. My mom gave me roses to make me feel better and Laurens dad was like "Even you got roses?!" And then the next night he was like " you did good this time." I want to hang with her, but it's hard!

Wow so I hung out w/my guy best friend who's my bestest friend ever...of all time and he told me that when we were in 7th grade...he had a crush on me (nothing unusual. It happens to every guy/girl best friends) and I admitted to him that in 8th grade I had a crush on him but neither of us ever did anything cuz we're bestest friends & he would have a girlfriend, I would have a boyfriend...the usual right?! Right. So anywho, this weekend we hung out and I think he wants to pursue something. I think he still likes me. He didn't tell me but I just feel it...you know when you get that feeling. We acted the same but there was something different. He tried to kiss me w/out trying. It was weird. Now my issue...I don't know if I like him too. I don't know whether I should pursue anything or not. I don't know if I should bring it up cuz what if he doesn't like me & it was all in my head (WHich I truly doubt!). He's the one guy I never thought this happen with. I love him...like my brother. HELP
