my 6 year old spent the night with one of my friends. He came home Sat. morning and went right to bed and never talked to us. Monday morning I found out that there was a party at her house while he was there and there was a huge fight she doesn't know if one of the other adults punched him on accident or what but he ended up with a loose tooth and a fat lip. Why didn't he say something to me. I am really upset and mad at my friend, but i need to know what happened to him...

You don't deserve to have kids. Your child was put in a harmful situation, came home with a fat lip, loose tooth, and will not talk to you about it. And here you sit asking stupid questions. He came home on Saturday, and you didn't find out the details until Monday? He had a fat lip..didn't you care? You're mad at your friend? Get real, I would of had her arrested, after I beat the daylights out of her for sending my son home injured because she was irresponsible and threw a party with him in the house. What kind of people do you leave your child with?

Not to alarm you or anything but I think you should consider the fact that something sexual may have happened to him and should think about taking him to see a docter.
If there was a fight and he was accidently hit then he should have no problem telling you what happened to him. I can tell you this first hand from my own expierence starting when I turned 6 is that when you are sexually abused you tend to hide and be scared of things that normaly wouldnt scare you.
You wont tell your parents or anyone of authority what happened out of emabassarsment or fear that there parent might not believe them...It would be m advice you get him checked out.

He may have been afraid of what you would say. Kids don't always know when the right time is to tell an adult something out of confusion, fear, or frustration because they don't think the adult will understand. Maybe take him to a counselor who knows how to get kids to talk about these things. Just don't blame him for his lack of verbalization of events. He is probably just scared to talk to you. He may have also been threatened by whatever adult assaulted him, that he would be hurt worse if he did tell. You have to get professional help now.

try to approach him in a non threatening way. He might think he will get in trouble. CALL over there and demand to know what happened. If they give you a shady answer that is different then your sons (as soon as he feels comfortable to come forward) then ditch those crappy friends and possible charge them with assault. How far you take it is your choice. Either way they should of told you first, not you having to dig around to find the truth. Really, the fact that your friends didnt come forward and explain to you what happened shows that there hiding something.

I personaly would call the cops friend or not. If some one hit my child trust me I would go off the deep end. Your son is scared. Why was there an adult party while kids where there in the first place?

I am so sorry for what happened to your son. He probably is not saying anything cause he is afraid to. I would calmly call your friend, and tell her how he is acting, not telling you anything yet, and she can fill you in on details. Maybe try to talk to him without showing anger or raising your voice to him. He has been through enough already. Poor little guy. I am sure he will say something once he feels calm enough..

Maybe hes upset that you let him sleep over your friends house. I would be very very mad at my friend. Im actully mad for you. Why would she have him over if she knew she was having a party? Even if she didnt know she should have called you to have him picked up.

He may not know how to tell you, given his age....or maybe he was threatened into silence by the guy who hit him.

Either way, you need to get the full story from your friend and have this guy up on charges for assaulting a young child.

I hope he's okay.

maybe he's been threatened not to say what really happened. you should find out from your friend then call the police cos really why did she not come over & tell you about the fight. I think she may be lying & your little boy is scared to say.
if that was my little boy i'd knock my friends block off.
