Be the big person and ask him if you can make a pact to sit down and discuss what's happening. The conditions will be that you'll both do your best to keep your cool and try to get things straightened out. If one starts feeling angry or uncomfortable, you can simply get up and walk away. At least you would have tried.

That's too bad- but like with any other relationship, friendships go through their bad patches. What I would do is just not speak to him for a while, and give both of you some time to cool off. Once you do re-establish communication, try to go back to the source of the fight and really try to hear each other out. Find out where it all went wrong, and then discuss steps you can both take to rebuild your friendship. Don't expect it to all go back to the way it used to be right away (if ever), but just be patient, and if it was a worthwhile friendship, it will be rekindled in time.

Agree not to swear in your conversations. If someone swears, they have to pay $1.00. See how much money you can make off of eachother.

Sure, call him on the telephone and say ypu have his mom on the line with you.... LoL

Really, politely ask him not to speak that way to you. Don't do it because he does it to you. One of you has to be the leader and be mature about it. Remain calm in spite of everything. One of you needs to maintain a cool head before something stupid happens next....

Stop swearing. What comes out of your mouth is your responsibility. No one forces you to swear.
