You know how they say women get easily emotionally attached to guys?

Well I don't. I have a friend with benefits, and it's been two and a half months and I'm still not emotionally attached to him.

The only way I get emotionally attached is if me and the guy share deep thoughts and secrets. And me and my friend with benefits don't do that so that's why it's easy for me to NOT get emotionally attached..

Am I the only one? Normal or no?

Suppose I go to a hospital to see a patient who is terminally ill and is known to go to die in few days. I feel very upset in such situations. Can you tell me what type of conversation would be appropriate? Is there any other way in which I can help her/him?

My am a 17 year old boy and hate my real name because it sounds so girly. Is krissie a girls name or can guys be called it to. i tell people my names chris, but on my birth certificate it says krissie. What do you think?

I have a friend of over 20 years who has stood by me and supported me, but I have also suffered a lot of ridicule and disrespect. Lately there was an incident that really made me want to put an end to the friendship. But, my logical side tells me I maybe should not remove a source of support, while my heart tells me I should empower my self-esteem by confronting the person and making them aware that I won't take the abuse any more. I am very torn on this issue.

I'm 16 years old and just got invited to one of my close friend's party. The problem is that she's having a sleepover. When I told my mom, she said absolutely not. Actually, she said I could go, but they she would pick me up around 12. Do you believe that she's being too overprotective? And is it lame to not stay over at a sleepover?

My friend of 8 years has been lodging with me and my boyfriend for the past 2 months, we decided to throw her a party for her 20th.
All went fine until she decided to invite her x and his new gf along with a few other not so appropriate guests.
As we were trying to get the last people to leave it all kicked off between her and the x!
She trashed my living room whilst throwing stuff at him.

I made her clean the entire house, and I've asked her to leave a.s.a.p.
Im really gutted our friendship has ended in this way and can't help but wonder if I have over-reacted???

As of yet how ever I haven't had a sober apology!

My best friend is 13 years old and she smokes pot already....she started last wednesday and she is like addicted to it....im always around her and she acts crazy and i dont know if i can be her friend for any longer.....how can i stop her from doing pot so we can work it out???

my friend and her boifriend arent together anymore, but she say she loves him (it was his fault...). im not the kind of person who says "he wasnt worth it, 4get about him" cuz ppl have told me dat and it just makes me feel worse. so can anyone give me a quote or know where i can find a quote dat can say "he was worth it, but u can do better" or something to make the guy feel good but let my friend know that life still goes on. it would mean a lot. -thanks <3

Ok, I sent my friend an email say i think we used to be closer, is anything bothering you and sorted it out and became close again. My friend called me and asked if she wanted to have a sleepover. I had the night before with a girl named Anna and i told her that so i couldnt have one. Then she asked, is Anna your best friend? And i said we are really close, but you all are my best friends. Then she said that bugs me that you sent me that email and then talk about Anna and that you are really close. I didnt know why she was upset. Then today I called her to see if she wanted to go to a movie maybe to sort it out, but she wont answer her phone and i know shes there, shes just mad!! WHAT DO I DO??????????

I have known my friend for nearly 10 years. We were close ( I was holding her leg has she gave birth to her twins) but since I moved away from her 4 years ago I feel our friendship is very one sided.
Its always me that phones or text her unless she wants something or to come for a holiday. Everytime she and the children come, I pay for everything. Which is quite costly (1 adult and 2 8yr olds) she always leaves a lasting impression on my home, last time pointed heal marks all over my wooden floors, She also asked me to lend her £5000 for cosmetic surgery and was not happy when I refused, she is a bit of a tart with men and always goes for mr wrong, I told her to get some self respect!!! and she went home early and we havn't really spoken since.
So do I call it a day??????
The problems is I think the world of her children and don't want to lose contact with them
Ps this may sound petty but she dos'nt even send my children birthday cards and it really pisses me off!!

My friend killed himself a couple of days ago and his funeral is today after school but for some reason i still cannot beleive it and i am still mentally hurting and i cant think about it and not cry
