Just doesn't matter what is on your birth certificate just stick with Chris, that name sounds good.Your not going to show everyone your Birth Certificate. There are a lot of people that use nick names all their life , their first name is fine, they just have or like nick names.

Well, its sorta is a girls name-Ive never heard a guy be called it before, but if it does make you feel uncomfortable just do what you're doing. Chris is a good coverup ;)
Although i do know about 3 guys named Kelly and one named Shannon so dont feel bad hun. Names are names and doesnt make who you are as a person. If someone has to make fun about a persons name then they need help.

I'm sorry. Yeah that is a girl name.
Just stick with Chris & when you get older maybe you can change it. Did you parents have a reason for that name?
I had a friend named Alexis, he was a boy...

I think it is really cute. I like it. If my husbands name were Chris i would probably call him Krissie. Do you have some Irish blood in your veins? I think it's sexy!

I think it's a girlie name, but it could always be worse. Like one of my friend's brother's name is Brittany. Names are just names though. Call yourself what you want.

I'm sorry. Parents do weird things sometimes. My ex had a girly name. His friends and I came up with a nickname for him in highschool and he still goes by it.

I think that any name can be used for a boy or girl these days. You go by what you want to be called. I knew a boy who called himself chrissie. Noone thought anything of it , as it was just his name.

It is definitely a girl sounding name If you really have a problem with it, ask your parents if you can change it. If they don't want to, after you turn 18 you can legally change it yourself.
