Friends - February 2007

Okay, so I have been sick for 2 weeks and haven't been to school that whole time. My friend is keeping me uptodate with what's going on in my spanish class. Ohk here's the thing. I really do talk a lot in that class, and I'm not having trouble with a teacher but a few kids. Because I talk a lot, they rlly don't like me. I'm not there and my friend is telling me how they are saying they say " oh blah blah she talks so much etc. etc." I'm sick of it and I rlly don't want to talk to them

Should I even care what they think of me?

well there are 4 girls that cant stand me ,they always roll their eye to me and when the teacher is not looking they push me around. At school yesterday we were playing volley ball and diana the meanest one of all threw the ball at my face and since i have delicate nostrils my nose started bleeding. what should i do ??

I started working on fitness a few weeks ago and i wear really cute and attractive clothes because i dont wanna wear anything ugly. My friend was found dead the other day. she went to an exes house to have him sign papers of some sort. btw she was also pregnant. they found her body in a dumpster the next day beatin to death. They have caught him and low and behold he was married and had a 6 month old. he's being held without bond. on first degree murder. I've been throwed off by this all week. How could anyone ever do that to another human being? doesn't this whole thing count as a double homicide? what do you think should be done?

I am 21 and I have a very dear friend of mine that is in her 80's. Does anyone have ideas for activities that I can involve her in? She has a very sharp mind and can still get around on her own. I am unable to see her as much as I would like I work 2 jobs and go to school. But I would love to make one night a week special something for her to look forward to. me n my friend got in a HUGE fight. i've known her for maybe a little over 4 months n we've fought plenty of times. she's annoying n she complains all the time. she also likes 2 turn things around on me like it's all my fault. whenever we get in fights n it's her fault she'll lie n tell her mom that it's my fault n her mom will call me a little brat. we only talk over the internet. she's rude towards my other friends 2. but that isn't why i'm asking this question. we got in a fight cuz her ex bf's sister told me she hated her n i don't know his sister that well so i told *A* that she said she hated her. she didn't believe me n i got mad. she never believes me though. anyways she asked *D* if she really said she hated her n she said i was lying which made me sound like a fake. then we get in a big fight and she calls me names. should i forgive her?

My best friends aren't allowed to go to our middle school dance because we have to get up early the next morning, so I thought we could surprize them wit a Not-Going-To-The-Dance Party. The problem is, I have no idea what we would do to entertain ourselves. We'd only be at my house until about eight, and we might be there for about three hours. I can't figure out if we should invite boyfriends or just have it be us chicks... Help :)

There is this guy, he's my really close friend, and he just recently told me that he liked me as more than friends. I told him that I just wanted to be friends, and he said ok and nothing was awkward, but now I'm having second thoughts. Is it wrong to like somebody when they don't like you, and when they do like you, you stop liking them? I'm so confused!

I am a really cool and tall guy at school I can really do my math fast and I dont know everybody dislikes me and I have barely friend every time they forget homework they ask me for to show and I show them my answers and when they need a pencil or paper or eraser or additional help they ask me for it and when I ask something they are rude to me and really mean and if I ask for something before I can finish my sentence they tell me to shut up and I feel bad and I like to help them because they are helpless. And some of them really hate me.I dont why? and I am they guy who never had a girlfriend and my age is 13.

There's this boy at school,a year older than me (around 16) and he plays the violin.He's real great,he wants to go abroad to study music and i think he has great potential.
But the kids at school pick on him and laugh at him because he is not popular,gorgeous and stuff
I am the school's flag-holder( this is the best student at school) and I'm also popular.So,because i look up to him a lot,I play the piano and know how much it takes to become what he is,i went up to him and told him how much i admire him and that he should invite me to one of his music school's concerts.Not meaning that i fancy him or anything.
And when the....morons saw it, they started hanging out with him and making him a friend too.Is this bad?D u think he feels that people accept him just because of me???

When I first moved from an island to the city I started working in a hotel. I missed my friends from back home and then I met this girl who I was working with and we got along so well. We ended up becoming best mates, did everything together, even after we both left the hotel, we spent most of our free time together and soon became best friends. We completely connected and understood each other. Then suddeny she stopped replying to my texts and started blanking my phone calls. At first I thought it would pass then I realised she didn't want to speak to me at all. I was really upset and didn't understand why. Then recently I found her on a website (bebo) through a friend so I sent her a message saying how I missed her friendship and that I didn't understand what went wrong between us....and she's blanked me again! Really don't know why, I haven't done anything wrong, she's just dumped me. What should I do? Why has she done this?? Thanks in advance

I have known her for about 2 years. She is the good friend of a friend and I babysit her daughter during the day. I am 30, she is 39. She is total drama. I am a Mom, a wife and I am content with my life. It seems like she is always trying to cause problems or has problems or is just being mean and ugly. There is no use being patient and trying to "kill her with kindness" as my mother would advise. How do I get her outof my life? I have this friend and i love her to death. I dont know why everyone picks on her soo much. Okay, so today's Valentine's day. I've made it not exist to me. It's just my friend's birthday today. What upsets me the most is that I've had this good friend since PRE-K. I was one of the only ones that gave him a present. He invited people he's known for 4 months that never talk to him, and we're the regular copy-homework-share-food kind of friends. He didn't invite me. He didn't invite the 2 other people that gave him presents, either.

I don't know, maybe I'm just to 'uncool' to be one of his KNOWN friends...but is he a total jerk for doing this?

And I have another good friend. We're fairly new friends, but we hit it off. But today, he's being nasty to me and ignoring me. What could have happened?

What did you do? Did you find it was worth the effort to try to renew the friendship or did you just let them fade out of your life? A high school friend of mine who I go to college with has slighted me and my roommate (new best friend) and tries to get under everyones' skin. She's naturally argumentative and enjoys conflict, so I don't know what she considers normal friendship anymore. Should I ask her to meet for coffee and discuss things to make sure our friendship isn't suffering because of something that is going wrong in her life? Thanks in advance.
